star Stephen Amell confirms the existence of Lazarus Pits on the show...but assures fans that\'s not how his character will return.

"We just saw him fall," Amell said when quizzed about how they might justify bringing his character back from the apparent dead on the show. "We’ve seen Oliver survive. So, [we don’t know] whether he went straight off the cliff, whether something broke his fall, whether he hit the ground. We have mystical herbs on the show that have healing powers. We’ve seen a Lazarus Pit, although that’s not something that’s going to be used for Oliver. I hope he survives. I like playing him."

...Maybe they realized they couldn\'t raise him with the Lazarus Pit without risking the loss of all of Oliver\'s glorious scars?

I kinda hope they don\'t use the Lazarus Pit, just \'cause I think it\'s a little too soon on the show, and it\'d be a little too convenient - they just introduce Ra\'s, they immediately kill Oliver, they immediately bring him back with the pit.

That said, I think if they don\'t use the pit, based on everything they\'ve set up here, a lot of fans will cry foul, either due to the fact that they\'ll feel they\'ve been cheated, or because the way they explain his survival from a VERY mortal-lloking wound will seem like a cop-out compared to the pit.

If you look closely in the mid season finale you will find Oliver indeed putting his mystical herbs while packing by the end of the episode 

Whatever they do, I just hope they don\'t drag it out for very long. We know Oliver\'s return is inevitable. Don\'t insult our intelligence by stretching out the story for a month.

she\'s too far gone for the pit at this point. even Jason Todd wasn\'t dead for more than what, a week when he got put in the pit? plus bringing Sara back kills all development momentum for Laurel, so it makes no sense to bring her back.

What if he was still alive, but bleeding inside and needed somebody who could get really, really tiny to go in ala fantastic voyage and sew stuff back together.   Where could we find somebody who could make thenselves that small?  Does anybody know somebody like that?  Hello?  Felicity??

Either he survived thanks to Malcolm Merlyn, or he\'s lying to keep the Pit a secret, or (as someone joked on Facebook) Barry Allen will go back in time and save him...

So stupid, of rad has it, why not. Oliver? And he\'s basically saying he almost died, but disn\'t
