Meadow planned to have a party at her house.

Roger: *Driving a freight train with Meadow* What time do you want me there?
Meadow: 8 O' clock. You'll amor it.
Roger: I'm sure I will. I amor going to parties. *Slows the train down, and stops it in the yards* How many other ponies will be there?
Meadow: Everyone that works here with us, and a few of my friends you haven't met yet.
Roger: Okay. I'm looking progressivo, para a frente to being there.

At Meadow's house, it was 8 O' clock

Meadow: Thanks everypony for coming. We're gonna get this party started with some karaoke. Who would like to begin?
Anthony: oi why don't you start?
Michael: Yeah, you're great at singing.
Roger: I'll go.
Ryan: oi maybe both of you should sing. Do a duet for us.
Ponies: Yeah!

Ponies: *Gasping* What was that?
Meadow: Don't panic. I'll go see what it is. *Goes outside*
Michael: Be careful.
Meadow: *Looks at the crash*
Pony: *Gets out of his car with a gun* You're gonna pay for this!

Pony: *Kills the pony*
Meadow: *Turns around to run into her house*
Pony: *Shoots Meadow*
Meadow: Ah!! *Falls down*
Michael: Everyone get back! Make sure he doesn't see us, and get in the back of the house.

Everyone in Meadow's house went to the back so they wouldn't be spotted.

Pony: *Looks around* Nopony else seems to be around. I'm in the clear. *Shoots Meadow again, and goes to a red car. He picks the lock and steals it*
Roger: *Hears screeching tires* Do you think it's seguro to go back?
Michael: Let me go look. *Walks slowly to the front of the house, and sees Meadow* Nikki will not be happy about this.

Location: Cheyenne Wyoming
Time: 7:39 AM
Railroad: Union Pacific

Nikki was entering the yards in a short freight train. She was bringing in hopper cars that were just loaded with grain.

Nikki: *Stops her train seguinte to the yard tower, and gets out*
Snowflake: *Walks downstairs from her tower* Welcome back Nikki.
Nikki: Howdy.
Snowflake: Pete wants to see you in his office.

In Pete's office.

Nikki: What? When did this happen?
Pete: Last night. Michael tried calling you last night after Meadow was killed, but some lines were down in Ogden.
Nikki: My sister was killed. *A tear goes out of her right eye* She was a bright mare, she didn't deserve to die.
Pete: These things happen Nikki. I'm sorry for your loss. Michael wants you back in Ogden to take Meadow's place.
Nikki: Okay. *Shakes Pete's hoof* It was a pleasure working with you. *Leaves the office, and walks out of the train station*
Pete: *Sits behind his desk* I'm going to miss her.
Mirage: *Enters the office* Sir, sorry for being late, but there were a few telephone poles that fell on my street. I couldn't get my car out of the drive way.
Pete: That's fine Mirage. Thank you for coming.
Mirage: Where's Nikki going?
Pete: Back to work on the Southern Pacific. Her sister was killed.
Mirage: Oh dear. I feel sorry for her. What do you want me to do today sir?
Pete: I was going to have Nikki drive an excursion pulled por 844, but I'll let you do that. You're working with Metal Gloss.
Mirage: With pleasure sir. I'm on it. *Leaves the office*

Not far from the station, Nikki was in a gun shop.

Nikki: What can I get for five hundred dollars?
Gun comprar Pony: *Puts a pistol on the counter* Semi automatic potro, colt 45. Seventy dollars. Each clip holds seven bullets. Extra ammo costs two dollars and fifty bits.
Nikki: *Gives the gun comprar pónei, pônei four twenty dollar bills*
Gun comprar Pony: Would you like this stuff in a bag?
Nikki: Sure.
Gun comprar Pony: *Puts the gun and ammo in a white plastic bag* Okay ma'am, take care of yourself.
Nikki: I will. *Grabs the bag, and walks out of the shop. She steps into her car* Okay, time to head back to the Southern Pacific, and look for that pónei, pônei who killed my sister. *Starts her car, and drives away*

Time: 10:00 AM
Railroad: Southern Pacific

Nikki was in Meadow's house, making herself lunch. The bag where she had her gun is upstairs.

Nikki: *Puts a hamburger on the grill, then goes to the refrigerator to get root beer*
Anthony: *At the station with Roger, waiting for a passenger train* Did you hear the news?
Roger: What news?
Anthony: Nikki is back.
Roger: Oh, that news. I thought you wanted to tell me about The Dick furgão, van Dyke show. Everypony has told me about that.
Anthony: The Dick furgão, van Dyke show? What's that?
Roger: It's coming out soon, in August I think. I saw a commercial for it while I was watching Rawhide. Now, you said Nikki is back, but I haven't seen her anywhere.
Anthony: She's at Meadow's house having lunch. Once that's over, then she starts working here.
Donut: *Arrives* oi you guys.
Roger: You're late.
Anthony: What happened?
Donut: Overslept. I am going to set my alarm earlier than usual to prevent that. Michael says I have no work for the time being, so I'm going to read this magazine. *Sits down, and looks at the magazine*
Roger: *Looks at it* Aw fuck!!
Anthony: What is it?
Roger: Desoto went out of business.
Donut: That's a shame.
Anthony: You two seriously didn't know that until now?
Roger: What?
Anthony: That magazine is from January.
Roger: They've been out of business for four months?
Anthony: *Nods* I remember hearing news last December that Chrysler was making plans to stop Desoto.

Meanwhile in Michael's office

Nikki: *Arrives* Michael, it's great to be back.
Michael: It's great to see you again Nikki.
Nikki: I have to talk to you about something.
Michael: Well, I'm here. Let's talk.
Nikki: Do you know anything about the pónei, pônei who killed my sister?
Michael: *Sighs* No. What do you intend to do?
Nikki: If I knew what he looked like, I'd kill him.
Michael: You can't be serious.
Nikki: Yes I am! He killed my sister for no reason. I bought a gun, and I should kill him.
Michael: Wait, you bought a gun?
Nikki: Yeah!
Michael: Nikki, listen to me. This pónei, pônei that killed your sister, does deserve to die, I agree with you about that. But you shouldn't be running around, waving a gun you just bought, trying to kill him. For all I know, he probably left Ogden after killing your sister, and he might even be in jail now. Do you want to be in jail to?
Nikki: I don't.
Michael: Then let it go. *Gives Nikki a piece of paper* Your first assignment for the day. Go to the yards, and drive a freight train carrying wood and water. You're taking it to Winnemucca. Duke is going with you.
Nikki: Yes sir. *Gets up and walks away*

Nikki was still sad about Meadow's death, but she decided not to let it bother her anymore.
