	titanicfan1 picked The Phantom: i mean like i said on the question b 4, he would have treated her like she waz so special!! if he knew he had her and she wasn't going anywhere he would give her freedom! he loved her, her whole life. he waz gentle 2 her b 4 and then he lost his temper and then she met raoul and he is very protective over her and he didn't want 2 let her go. so he thought that if he fought her and kept her then she would choose him... not raoul. but, he never had a life! he doesn't know anything but music! she taught him love and compassion... he will never, ever find someone else though. Also, he shared with her something Raoul didn't; music. Their relationship with music was something I don't think Raoul could even begin to understand much less give her/join her in. The Phantom definitely had more to offer her than Raoul, more in common with her, than Raoul, and I'm sure that if only she loved him and was his wife, he would've tried all his might to change himself into a better man to make her happy. He even says that in Leroux. And he does everything he can to protect her, even if that means risking his own life.. Take going to the lair, that in itself was risky, and even when he is on the edge of death he still thinks about Christine's well being "Don't throw your life away for my sake".. Yes I do see the Phantom has a greater understanding of her regarding her music, and his love for her is a great one..
