I don't know, maybe. I might be a little ticked off, but maybe not quite as angry if I were the phantom. I'd probably explain to her that I was too insecure to let her see my face right now. And then I'd let her explain that outer beauty doesn't matter, that it's what's inside that counts. And then if I felt comfortable, I'd remove my mask again.

Hmm... I'd probably just stare at her, then duck under a table or something. XD

If you think logically about it.
"Yes Christine, the mask is there for a reason...."
and besides, what Christine did was totally humiliating. If you put yourself in that place, to have everyone stare at something you're conscious about just because she felt like removing it, I'd seriously have her pay a price.

My reaction would be something like, "O.M.G! That was there for a reason!!!! Really?! You couldn't have asked…honestly, a simple, 'PLEASE let me see what is under you mask,' would have sufficed!"…yeah something like that lol

If I was in the Phantom's shoes with his face infection I would prefer it if she asked first and if I loved her the way he loves her I'd probably say yes but say nothing to anyone!!!

Yes, but I wouldn't slap her. I'd probably secrelty cry, yell a little, and put it back on.

I'd be angry as the last thing I'd want is for everyone in the opera house to see my face like that but I'd forgive her if I felt the same way he does about her

i totally understand why he got all crazy... i mean he thought the reason she did that was to see the "horrid face of the phantom" but she only did it because she wanted to see more of him... she didn't really know.

He is ashamed of it.. obviously.. we all hide things and we hate when people expose them.. I would be angry.. You know he was caught by surprise.. well not really in the movie.. and there was actually nothing wrong with his face (bad idea having him look into a mirror really) .. but he was kind of having a hard enough time as it was and he knows the general response to it so he wanted her to love him and I think he saw it as everything getting so much harder
