They're going to decide something that might have me dependent on others for quite a few months, and i had an operation just about 10 months ago. I can't walk without a cane right now...and... i don't know what this will do to my emotional health. The recent operation, strangely, got me out of depression, made me greatful of life. I don't know if this one will do the opposite.

All I can say is to try not to think about it right now, even though that is probably difficult to do. Try to relax tonight- watch a favorite movie or something to get your mind off it. If this decision is all you think about, you probably won't get a good night's sleep tonight and will be even worse off tomorrow.

I know it sucks to be dependent upon others, especially for such a long period of time. Tomorrow, perhaps on your way to the doctor's, remind yourself of all the great people who have helped you in the past and will help you again if you have this operation. Also remember that this operation could possibly turn out to be the best thing for you. Your doctor(s) probably only wants what's best for you.

A little better:) Doctor's appointment went ok, but the official decision has been moved (again...) to the 18th of June. So, yeah, I'm prob gonna panic (again, of course) but right now i feel pretty optomistic
