I peeled myself from the wall, which now had a Mel-shaped dent in it. I giggled and continued running around the cave. Katana giggled and joined me. "Mel, oh God Mel I'm sorry..." Fang said softly, holding my curled up body in his arms. He wiped tears off my face with his thumb. His words scared me. Did he mean it? Would he beat me to death?
