Fin was not pleased. Twenty-two hours of sitting cramped in a bus with blindfolds on, suffering with Epsilon’s constant mindless chatter and Ciel’s soft humming (which started to bug her after the first 10 minutes). Then, getting out of the bus... only to get loaded into a jet which brought them right back where they started! She’d memorized how Gotham looked and she wasn’t an idiot, but she feigned curiosity.
They were brought along a dark hallway in a warehouse. Something about the place was oddly familiar, but she couldn’t place her finger on what it was, so she ignored the little warning voice in the back of her mind. Fin noticed Aisling twisting her fingers together nervously and she slapped the older teen, softly with a warning sting. Harley nudged her in the back, and Fin turned to glare at her, but she simply pointed ahead. Turning, Fin noticed three hallways. The guard in front of them stopped and turned. “Boys to the left, girls to the right.”
They split, Fang giving a glance to Mel, who subtly smiled as if to say ‘I’ll be fine.’
Mercy led the way, hands in her jean pockets, when they came across the showers. Each one had either freezing cold water or burning hot. Only three of the showers had the hot, so naturally the firecasters and Harley took them, while the others took the cold.
Silver stepped back into the seguinte door shivering slightly, partially glad to see Alek was as well, and they continued on. All of them were pushed into the same room, and the door was slammed shut.
“Mijas!” came an excited shout, and Aisling and Fin were suddenly encased in a tall latino man’s hug. Aisling panicked, not knowing what to do, but Fin simply broke into a grin, accepting her role perfectly. “Julius! I’ve missed you so much!”
She’d taken on a slight accent, her smile was grand and showed off the extra-pointed canines. The 21-year-old set the two down and smiled. “Hello, Julius,” Aisling murmured nervously, but the man hardly seemed to notice. “Quiet as always, Rae. Introduce us!”
Fin, still smiling, dragged Luke forward. “This is Rock Stream, or Jared!”
One por one she pulled them up, introducing them por their new alias first and then their fake names. She introduced Phoebe as Hatter, or Pandora, as she’d finally decided. When she was done, Julius put an arm on her shoulder. “I’m so glad you’re here. We’ve really been struggling.”
Fin smirked and flipped her hair. “Well I’m sure you couldn’t do it without me.”
After a couple of minutes, Julius announced he had to go, and walked out of the room. Fin instantly dropped the facade and collapsed onto the nearest bunk. “That... sucked.”
Luke smiled. “How long have you practiced that?”
She glanced up with a smirk. “Practice?”
Mel giggled. “You’ve got some skills.”
“I know,” Fin replied with the accent again. “I’m just amazing.” Sharing a glance with Mel, they burst into laughter, and soon everyone was laughing along. Silver sighed.
“We’re.. not gonna have much time for this after the mission begins, huh?”
Aisling shook her head. “Probably not.”
Opening the closet, Fang looked back. “Found our stuff.”
Everyone grabbed their bags and threw them onto the bunks, choosing which cama they wanted. A guard came in, said they had to change into their ‘costumes.’ They did, one por one, and when they were done, they were lead out of the room. Another latino teen joined, saying hi to Aisling and Fin. Aisling’s eyes widened, but Fin just played it off. As the boy walked ahead of them, she leaned over and whispered to Aisling, “That’s Rex. Our other brother?”
“Right,” Aisling agreed, any confusion dissipating.
They reached a room where everything was pitch black except a couple of computer screens and light from the ceilings, and even those were dim. The tugging feeling at her mind returned, but again, Fin ignored it, even though it was harsher. “Welcome, all of you,” came a dark voice, harsh, and cold.
“I think we’re assured why I’ve called you here. You’re to train, perfect your individual skills, and then go and introduce yourself to the world. We’re not villians. We’re not heroes. We’re the in between, here to make the place better for everyone alike.”
The man finally stepped into the dimly lit room in front of them, and Fin had to stifle a gasp, glad she was wearing the tinted glasses so they wouldn’t give away her shock and fear.
Standing before the undercovers was none other than Slade Wilson, the man who’d made her life what it was today.
And I'll be back with this eventually! Maybe. If your lucky. And I feel like it.

Cold as steel...
Silver needle oh so sharp...
It hurt so bad when it broke my heart...
as cores of pain all around....
Yet it hurt....I couldnt make a sound....
She stroked my cheek, and told me it was alright....
But I grasped hope instead, for dear life...
When all hope was gone away....
I thought I was there to stay....
Then the miracle of the day....
Someone came.....and snatched me away....
Unsure of what to do...
I just cried like a fool....
A wolf, a cyborg, and a savior tried to comfort...
But I trusted no one....ever since the export...
Now I still feel a little queasy....
So they force me to take it easy....
But now inside I hear the voice...
And she is giving me no choice.
Hehehe......Guess whats its based on!!!
