Brendan sat on a couch, staring at a wall. He looked over his shoulder as his phone started to ring and vibrate.
"What now?" Getting up, he picked up the car keys hesitating to answer the call. Brendan shoved the phone in his pocket and swung open the door to exit the house to find a general standing there.
"Glad your início Adams. Your needed at this address." The General shoved a piece of paper in Brendan's hand and left. Brendan sighed and closed the door behind him leaving.

"Soldier, your needed as a SWAT member."
"Why? Don't you have enough as it is?
"No, we're spread out a little thin at this time Soldier"
"Ah, why didn't you call some else in? I'm supposed to be on vacation."
"You were recommended por the general Sir." The police officer started walking,
"No need to flatter." Brendan muttered, while putting his hands in his pockets. "So, why is it that I was called in?"
"Well, there is a armed suspect with a hostage inside. He's been pressed with sexual assault and one count of murder." the cop starting handing Brendan equipment.
"Great. Just what I need." Brendan said sarcastically as he walked up to the house. He tapped on the door at the other SWAT members stood behind.
"Sir, we will ask you one time to come out with your hands up." They waited for a sound but only silence filled there ears.
"Maybe he's r-"
"Shh." Brendan held up a finger and listened. A small whimper came from inside the house. "Surround the windows and doors, I'm going in alone. Stay put." Brendan kicked opened the door and walked inside, flicking on his flashlight to brighten the room. He looked around to slowly rounded a corner doing a 360 degree turn looking for danger. Brendan opened every door in the home, before checking the basement.
"There's no one in here.." He opened the basement door and ventured down, a high pitched scream came from a young girl sitting in the floor with her hands bound behind her back.
"There you are." Brendan walked over and cut the rope, helping the girl up he whirled around and fired at a shadowy figure standing in the corner. There was a grunt and a man fell to the floor. "C'mon let's get you out of here." He picked up the little girl and carried her out of the house. "The suspect is in the basement on the floor." Sitting the girl down he walked back over to his car and got in.
