Jacob trembled. He's... Overdue. Jacob fell to the ground, and I could hear his thoughts clearly, but all he thought were some choice cuss words. Then his body exploded into a heap of russet-brown fur. He got up and growled. Bella's eyes went wide. Victoria dropped her. When Jacob tackled Victoria, I ran to Bella's side. "No, it'll spread for two days," I said.
"Bella called, said she needed me," Jacob whispered. Then I saw his memories through his mind.

"J-Jacob? I need you here. Edward, h-he broke up with me. Please."
"Sure, let me get the rental. Meet you in a few minutes."
The engine stalled, because Jacob rushed, but soon the problem was fixed and Jacob was in Bella's room. Jacob was shushing her. Bella was crying into his chest. Then Bella started to talk.
"I-I'm willing to give-give you a chance, but I don't think my coração can love, ever again. Jacob, I want to forget it all, please, help-help me."
