"Hold it, EDWARD," sneered Victoria. Her teeth were glistening as she opened her mouth and put it dangerously close to Bella's throat. Bella was in pure terror. She was breathing reggedly, her coração was trying to break free, and I saw tears flowing down.

Victoria bit at Bella's throat, making it closer to impossible to kee her human.
"Bella's not HIS girlfriend anymore," came a familiar voice. "She's mine."
Jacob stepped out of the trees. No! Is he crazy?!!! He's-
Jacob trembled. He's... Overdue. Jacob fell to the ground, and I could hear his thoughts clearly, but all he thought were some choice cuss words. Then his body exploded into a heap of russet-brown fur. He got up and growled. Bella's eyes went wide. Victoria dropped her. When Jacob tackled Victoria, I ran to Bella's side. Her coração was jumping faster. She screamed in agony. I was too late. The transformation had begun. Jacob came back in lobo form, ten minutos later, and saw Bella's bite wounds. The large lobo howled. I saw a tear slide from his eye and down his fur. Soon, Bella fainted from the pain.
I called Jasper. Alice came and managed to run and get something to clean the wound. Jasper calmed Jacob down, and soon, Jacob was in human form, covering his body when he realized he had no clothes. "Bella called me, crying, yesterday. She said you left. Why are you here?" Jacob asked.

"I don't know if you noticed, but I was in the living room. I saw you holding Bella, leaving through the front door. Then I saw Alice, and I knew something was up. I followed you here."
Bella stirred. Jacob started to whisper in her ear.
"Bella, honey, we're here. Shh... Listen to my voice. I'm here. The pain will leave soon."
"No, it'll spread for two days," I said.
"Bella called, said she needed me," Jacob whispered. Then I saw his memories through his mind.
Bella's voice coming from the reciever.
"J-Jacob? I need you here. Edward, h-he broke up with me. Please."
"Sure, let me get the rental. Meet you in a few minutes."
The engine stalled, because Jacob rushed, but soon the problem was fixed and Jacob was in Bella's room. Jacob was shushing her. Bella was crying into his chest. Then Bella started to talk.
"I-I'm willing to give-give you a chance, but I don't think my coração can love, ever again. Jacob, I want to forget it all, please, help-help me."
Jacob took one long look into her eyes, and I saw sadness and sencerity in them.
"I... Can't. Bella, I don't know you like HE did. I can't amor you until after a little while. I did have a crush on you, though."
Bella layed her head against his chest.
"You're so... WARM," she whispered. "I kinda like it."
"Bella," Charlie said as he opened the door. "Billy wants to know if he's getting his son back."
"Tell him I'm gonna stay here," Jacob called as Charlie left.
When Bella was asleep, Jacob got up.He looked a her. She didn't look as peaceful as she was when I stayed over. Jacob bent down and kissed her still lips.
"Yes, Bella, I will," he whispered. Then I saw a different scene. There I was, holding Bella as Alice swiftly opened the door. Jacob got up and followed us, and got lost. Then I heard the blood-curdling scream as Victoria attacked Bella.
"STOP," I begged. Jacob stopped thinking about the memories and looked down at Bella. Her eyes were wide open, and she was looking at Jacob.
"Help me, Jake," she whispered.
"I'm sorry, I can't," he struggled.
I opened my eyes. I was in the hotel room I rented last night. It's been one mês since I left Bella in the woods, one mês since she tried to follow me. One mês since I saw her beautiful face. Bella was still human. Victoria is still at large. And the boy, Jacob, I hope hasn't touched my Bella.
I shook my head. Bella was free to go as she pleased. I hope she doesn't go anywhere near La Push, though. I missed her chocolate brown eyes, her warm smile. Most of all, I missed hearing her lovely voice telling me she loved me. I remember her funny attitude, her complaints about her birthdays. I was about to get up to leave when my phone buzzed. Alice.

Good news about New Moon from director Chris Weitz:
I'm very happy to announce that Taylor Lautner will be playing Jacob Black in New Moon and that he's doing so with the enthusiastic support of Summit Entertainment, the producers, and Stephenie Meyer.
The characters in Stephenie's books go through extraordinary changes of circumstance and also appearance; so it is not surprising that there has been speculation about whether the same actor would portray a character who changes in so many surprising ways throughout the series. But it was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob, and that the books would be best served por the actor who is emotionally right for the part. I think that fãs of Twilight the book and the movie will be surprised por the Jacob Black that Taylor will bring to the screen in New Moon; and I'm looking progressivo, para a frente to working with him and the rest of the cast in realizing the film.
