Paul asked, "Well then, are you ready to get it started?!" Laura said, "Ready as we'll ever be, uncle Paul!" The couple nodded in agreement. Ringo said, "Okie dokie! Bring it on, me chaps!" After turning everything on and doing a little microphone test, the Beatles, Laura, and Pattie kicked off the audio drama with John delivering the opening lines: "Warmest Season's Greetings to all of you, Beatle people! We hope you're having a grand time with the holidays as we are! For this year's message, we present to you a retelling of 'A natal Carol' por a famous author whose last name is Dickens. As they wore their coats, boots, and other winter gear, Laura said, "I'm so excited to take part in the natal message with you and my uncles for the first time, daddy George! This is gonna be a real treat." George replied, "So am I, Laura, darling! Even mais exciting is that we will be doing our veddy own version of a certain classic, audio drama style! He then took another look at the engagement ring for a while (which he had bought at the start of this month) and gently kissed it. Before long, they drove off, fetched Pattie from her flat, and were on their way to the Studios.
