Yes, we could imagine that every person's life after death would begin in a place relevant to them. Like Harry in a train station - as his life had started in King's Cross bound to Hogwarts. I agree that for Severus, it would be in a place where his friendship (and love, on his side) with Lily had begun.

I don't mean to stir the emotions here, I was just wonderin' why Lily brought Snape somewhere when James might be lurking around... Don't kill me.

It's someone's fanfic, to help some mourners find closure and Severus some kind of justice. James Potter is irrelivant.

It's lovely, but I refuse to believe that Severus Snape is dead! He did not die in the Shrieking Shack, he is just hiding!
