Why I ship cisne queen 

I don’t ship Swan Queen because they’re two women

I ship them because it’s Emma swan and Regina mills, their relationship has been developing since the pilot and has more depth and growth than the other canon ships

I don’t ship Swan Queen because they share a son

I ship them because after 2 seasons of fights and conflicts, they finally put that aside and called him “our son”

I don’t ship Swan Queen because Emma always saves Regina or vice versa

I ship them because they’re the savior and the evil queen, two people who were destined to destroy each other, and yet here they are, trusting, protecting and supporting one another.

I don’t ship Swan Queen because they have magic

i ship them because they have opposite kind of magic, it’s dark vs light, it’s evil vs good, and yet with a simple touch they can make the impossible possible, their magic combined is enough to defeat the undefeatable, they’re the only two people who share this magical connection, the only two people who can literally bring out the magic in each other.

I don’t ship Swan Queen because they make each other happy

I ship them because they represent what a relationship between a savior and an evil queen actually looks like, it’s too real, too angsty, too complicated, bittersweet, deep, interesting,  not easy at all, full of tears, hurt and regrets, they fight, they argue, they hurt each other, they make mistakes, they learn, they heal, they bring the worst (s1,2) and the best(3,4) in each other, they protect and save one another, a relationship that has come so far since s1, ,and it’s still growing and developing

I don’t ship Swan Queen because they have more scenes together

I ship them because they have the most meaningful scenes,  the deepest parallels, the most logical dynamic, they move the story forward since season 1, the main story is about them and their family, every arc/plot connects them, everything always comes back to the swan mills family, every single time.

I don’t ship Swan Queen because I want them to be canon

I ship them because they don’t have to be a couple to exist and shine, no body is the other’s plot device, they’re two strong badass women who carry the story, each one has a story to tell, they exist outside each other, but their worlds collide in every way, they’re both developing on their own but they connect in the most beautiful way, their relationship is a part of the main story not just a side romance,

I don’t ship Swan Queen because I want/choose to

I ship them because Emma opened up to Regina first time she met her, because Regina wanted Emma out of the town and now she’s protecting her heart, because Emma didn’t care about the evil queen and now she sacrificed her soul for her, because their relationship is the only one who has gone through the 3 stages: enemies, allies, friends, because season 4 theme was not giving up on people and Emma was the person who didn’t give up on Regina (Elsa’s words), because Regina gave Emma what she most desired: happy memories with her son,

I ship Swan Queen because it’s always been there since day 1, so when you watch s1 you realize how fucking slow real and beautiful their dynamic is. Nothing is rushed, everything is earned
