Chapter 3 The cult
“What are you on about?” I was shaking with anger. How dare she say what I am and what I'm not “Stuff you” I wanted to say much worse. I walked away from her. Suddenly James was in front of me, smirking at me then he slowly vanished. I had to get out of here. por the time I come back it will be too late.
I was walking down the empty rua the sun had set already. How long have I been walking for? I did not even feel tired. Some how I ended up at the park... thinking of Hannah, I walked past where it all happened Hannah screams echoed inside my head. I felt nothing but anger.
“Hello” A voice who I faintly remembered... Damien. I turned round as fast I could my fist clenched and swung at Damien. Before I could register what happened Damien ducked and was behind me buckling me to the ground. He held me to the ground with my hands behind my back.
“Join us?” Damien asked. Is he mad, no way!
“Are you on crack or something no.” I used all my anger to mover my self away from under him. I lifted him from under me. When I stood up he was on the ground looking up at me.
“Because of you my girlfriend is in a coma and now I'm a-” I stopped there if I said I was a demon he would think I'm insane or something. I started walking away, my head was muddled.
“And now your a demon” shock passed through me as Damien said that sentence.
“No don't be stupid” I turned away for the segundo time.
“I know you are! You can’t deny it” I could feel his eyes staring at me.
“How do you know?” I said without turning around.
“Well quite a few reasons really, number Uno we beat the hell out of you and a couple days later and your out of hospital. Meaning you heal like a demon. And two the color of your eyes gives it away. There black if you’re wondering. And the last one is that your stronger then last time... good soco por the way” I turned round Damien was holding the side of his face where I punched him, he smiled at me.
“Now will you join” he added looking deep into my eyes.
All my anger washed out of me, I felt weak without thinking I said yes.
“Good it's for the best. Now follow” he grabbed my shoulders, one minuto we are at the park the seguinte we are in some sort of warehouse. That was weird....
Even though it was dark I could see clearly the people faces like they glowed.
Damien clapped his hands and the whole place became bright, for some strange reason my eyes did not need to adjust to the light setting. Every face in the room looked at me... if looks could kill I would be stone dead. Damien’s hands were on my shoulder again and he said:
“This is Luke and he will be joining our cult” mumbles rumbled through the warehouse. I looked around the room again stares still locked on me, deathly looks, then I saw him, his face stuck out from all the other faces... Rob! I could not control myself anger was building up inside me, like all this anger was locked up inside me and it’s just been let out. He backed up against the mural looking scared and frightened. Everyone who was looking at me followed my stare. They all started smirking “Do it” one of them shouted at me. Damien let go of my shoulders and pushed me into the crowd. I let the inner me loose and just ran at him without thinking, pinning him against the mural and digging my nails into his throat. He was clawing at my hand trying to get me to loosen my grip... hell no. He started to go red in the face.
“YOU, You put my girlfriend in a coma. Give me one reason why I should not kill you right now? You piece of scum.” blood started running down his neck as I forced mais pressure into my grip.
“S- Sorr-Sorry”
Let him go a voice whispered, so I did. Blood was dripping down my wrist. Rob collapsed on the floor coughing and spluttering. Then I heard applause from behind me, I turned round to my audience.
“Well done young one” Damien said moving through the crowd, he walked up to Rob who was gasping on the floor, his face turning back to is normal pale color.
“Now it’s your turn” Said an evil rough voice.
“NO!” said a voice. I remember that voice last time I heard that was at the- ... oh my God Hannah! But before I knew it I was in darkness.
