So, I had a sudden wave of motivation to write this after watching a Simpsons episode of all things. Though, this is actually based on an episode of The Twilight Zone, dubbed as "Time Enough at Last."
It's my personal favorito episode of the show, starring our main character Henry Bemis as his miserable life changes from what it used to be.
No other context will be given here, as I want others to try and piece it all together...Or just interpret the poem their own way, that's always fun.
I hope you all enjoy, as I worked quite hard on it!
Timber after sapling, the atmosphere stays the same.
The recurring river tides soco my glasses with disdain.
I try and discover a way out, ruminating it is not so.
But the azure sky remains stagnant, in a demeanor just as hollow.
After turmoil, abuse, neglect, and treason,
My coração should be prosperous in this world without reason!
But as I gaze back into the abyss, as they supposedly say,
It gazes back into me, detecting my mental decay.
The abyss is not sentient, nor is it wrong.
But the vast wasteland...it shares my sentiments lifelong.
The cacophony of stress was over, a segundo chance to leave the routine!
If only that godsend was less far and few between.
Evil sanctioned rejuvenation, but Murphy beat it with the best.
I wasn’t steady with the new life, nor was I ready for the stress.
For now I lay deceased, seguinte to a biblioteca buried in glass…
Pondering how I gave up the chance, with time enough at last.
(I recommend you watch the episode "Time Enough at Last" if you can. It's a short twenty-five minutes, but it may surprise you!)

I'm goin' down to South Park gonna have myself a time,
(Kyle + Stan) Friendly faces everwhere humble folks without temptation,
I'm goin' down to South Park gonna leave my woes behind,
(Cartman) Ample Parking dia or Night, people spouting, "Howdy, Neighbor"
I'm headin' down to South Park gonna see if I can't unwind,
(Kenny) I like girls with big vagina, I like girls with big fat titties
So come on down to South Park, and meet some friends of mine. ______
