Would you prefer someone who is opposite to you or someone who is incredibly similar?

Opposite. It what makes a person unique to me.

A bit of both. Personally, I do not believe that it is possible to fit with someone who would be the exact opposite to you. Certainly, we all have our differences but there are also a few common points that bring us together. There could be no Understanding otherwise. Certain interests, experiences, viewpoints, feelings, etc. If there isn't anything to be shared you are bound to have a rough time. Likewise, the same applies for a person who could basically be a ''clone'' of you. What's so interesting in that? Filling one another makes a Bond stronger in my opinion. Learning from each other. One making up for the other's weakness and vice versa. In overall, Balance is vital when being in any kind of Relationship !!!!

Either or honestly. They can be as extremely different than me or they could be my clone in personality. My only requirement is that I like them in some way or another.

Examples: Erza Scarlet is someone that is very similar to me and i'll be friends with.

Lucy Heartfilia is very different than me (barring some similiarites) but i'll also be friends with.

Honestly someone similar to me would amount to a constant battle for dominance and I feel like it just wouldn't go over so well. I feel like I usually get along with people who are opposite of me (so long as we have some common ground).

I can get along with basically anybody, but I do prefer those who are similar to me who I can relate with more. That being said, I'm a people person and amor talking to just about everybody. ^ ^

Opposite for sure. Id probably get competitive with someone too similar to me. Plus por having someone opposite of me, I have someone who can challenge my views and ideas, given they can express that decently at least

Probably they should be mais similar than opposite, but not too similar, because I already have had that friendship that grew into a competition and in the end we had to part ways to stay at least good acquintances.

For friends it doesn't matter (although they're usually shy like me), but for a romantic relationship I prefer people who are the opposite of me. I like confident, outgoing, and borderline obnoxious.
