Family, friends, lover/spouse, children. In which order do you / would you value and hold your loyalties to the most and why?

None of the above. I'm not loyal to a "type" like "family" or "Friends" I'm loyal to those INDIVIDUALS who earn that loyalty. There are members of my family I am not loyal to at all and would sell them out to a friend who I am mais loyal to. Same for friends. There are some friends who I am less loyal to than even myself because for some rhyme or reason they lost certain amounts of my trust.

The only one I can honestly rank would be "lover/spouse" because I would only ever become apaixonados or marry someone who I quite simply am completely dedicated to. I'd give that person everything I have. Everyone I am loyal to gets it all to some degree but the person I choose to spend my life with is the one deserving of everything. Devotion....Trust....Forgiveness....whatever you can think of.

and obviously the word of a child should be taken with a grain of salt.

Depending on if said person deserved said loyalty. All of the people closest to me would get even loyalty. I am not planning on getting married or having kids so scratch that. There is a member of my family I don't have loyalty towards. There used to be friends who lost said loyalty.

My loyalty depends on the individual and whether said person earned the right to obtain my loyalty. If they have my loyalty I will be extremely loyal to them until I have reason to do otherwise.

(Even if I have a sexual partner. I think my loyalty would be to them like a good friend whose close to me so basically the same.)

Well, I'll go with the flow of the respostas so far and triple on the fact that an equal amount of my loyalty would go to certain individuals regardless of which Group they belong to. Can't really generalize. There is a certain part of my Family that I'm feeling really grateful towards them but when it comes to the other one, not so much. I do not feel beholden to the later. It is the same case with friends of mine. In the first place, why can't the barriers break and they be considered Family as well? I feel that those closest to me really deserve of such a Title. A bond por blood simply means nothing on a matter like that. Same case with my Lover/Spouse and Children obviously. In other words, I'm loyal towards those who harbor the same feelings as me regardless of their placement in my Life !!!!

In real life I only value my family since I haven't experienced the other relationships. My baby sister would be my life❤️

I have good and bad days with family, friends and my partner but my loyalty doesn't change. I couldn't put anyone above the other tbh, they all hold a lot of meaning in my life and I am grateful for them.

Although when I do have children I could imagine a strong bond there. I mean the bond between mother and child is significant. Still wouldn't consider my loyalty mainly devoted to the child though.

Interesting pergunta though... id find it extremely difficult to have different levels of loyalty to the people that support and shape me.

1: Children. I brought them into this world (at least, I will be soon) so I have the responsibility to make sure that I do everything I can for them.

2: Lover. My husband has done the most to earn my loyalty, otherwise I wouldn't have married him. I know for a fact that he'll always be there in return.

3. friends. Kinda the same thing as husband except I don't usually also fuck them

4: family. I didn't choose my family and a lot of them treat me like dirt. I tend to value relationships that you build up rather than the ones that just kinda happen so my family has to earn my loyalty as much as my friends do
