What is your reaction to people that make fun of u because u like pokemon?

Honestly I have better things to worry about than others opinions on things I like,if it's their opinion then good for them,well I really don't say anything,because it would be a waste of time and energy if I did,because nothing I say will make them like it or even change their mind..And Well I simply just take it as they're missing out on one amazing animê and leave it at that.

"Child-please! There's over 400 Pokemon now, god damnit! I don't have the time to worry about what people think! There's Pokemon to catch, teams to create, battles to win, and n00bs to knock down! Stop wasting my valuable time!"

I am a girl and i amor pokemon ^^
but my friends make fun of me for it bc they say its a boy thing... but i have a couple pokemon games... and stuff like tht and when i tell them
they usually tease me saying 'thats a little boy thing' and i just shrug and say 'then i guess im a little boy then' but they just crack up laughing and so do I XP but srsly it does tick me off sometimes tht they think that.

if Bronies can exist Pokemon fãs can too.

People will insult those that don't conform with the rest of society, or at least what the majority of the world thinks society is. Thats what will always happen, nothing will change this system unfortunately.

Since I stopped liking pokemon at 14 and never publicly advertised my hobbies, I don't have to worry about this specific problem.

I don't say anything to them. All i can do is feel sad for them because Pokemon is not a part of their life. Anyways, i don't care about them or their stupid thinking towards Pokemon. It really used to annoy me at the beginning but then i realised that why the hell am i even listening to their freaking opinions!

*shrugs* I'm a person who wears a pikachu camisa to high school and has loud conversations about animê in the middle of math class. if I actually cared about what people thought, I wouldn't do all of this stuff In the first place. Eventually, you realize that only idiots (aka the "popular" kids) make fun of you and you realize that you lost your chance of being popular a long time ago. You also realize that popular people don't know the fun of loving Pokemon.

Therefore, I laugh and feel sorry inside that they don't have the common sense to learn mais about Pokemon :p

Well, most of my friends like pokemon. We all grew up with it. And the people that don't like it don't say things like that. Each to thier own.

However, If someone were to start dissing me for watching pokemon, or playing pokemon games. I would most likely ignore them, or tell them to go pester someone that actually gives a flying shit about there meaningless opinion ;)

i dont care. becuase i will show my spirit about pokemon and say there thing is bad! then if they see a show about fighting, i will show them my flareon spirit. then they start to like me. and if they like me and do not make fun of me anymore, i will etheir be there pokemon or somone elses

I wouldn't pay attention to them, they are just big jerks that are prejudice or judgmental to pokemon that they never even seen, besides pokemon is the best, and the battles in the games always get me pumped up and excited,even when my pokemon evolve, I don't why it excites me, but it does.

I just laugh along with them and say yeah i am a geek but who cares - i still play pokemon and i'm 21

If boys can be obsessed with X box games then i can be obsessed with pokemon - the thing is if you like it and your frenids like it just ignore anybody else becouse they will grow mais old and wrinkley before you do :)

i'll ignore them for aslong as i can then i'll say that there miising out on one of the most popular and funnest games in the world which might just give them segundo thouts,if not then oh well

Oh,I wouldn't care AND I would just use Kakashi's style of ignorance. "huh,what was that?" If they call me def I'd just use the " what you say is what you are"!
