Marlene had started to come and visit Rico every dia until he awoke from his coma, she would come and sit with him and talk to him for hours,

Marlene: yea Rico....we should do that when you wake up....it will be fun...

Skipper then walked in the room.

Skipper: Marlene....it's time to go...it's getting late....

Marlene: really....already....ok....goodbye Rico...I'll see you tomorrow..

Marlene then kissed Rico on the forehead and skipper and Marlene left the room.

Marlene and skipper were on thier way home, Marlene and skipper tried to strike up a conversation, but skipper was still ticked off at Marlene.

Marlene: skipper--

Skipper: no...I don't want to talk to you right now....

Marlene: but skipper....I'm sorry this all happened! I've been visiting him everyday the past week! I want him to get up! We have all these plans and everything.

Skipper: but are you doing this because of what happened!!

Marlene:no! Not anymore! I really mean it this time!!

Skipper: i won't Bieleve it till I see it...this would never had happen if you did this to him!!!

Marlene: I know that!!!!

Skipper then stopped in his tracks.

Marlene: you don't think I know what was wrong!! I regret it everyday!!! I cry in my sleep at night!! "Sobs"

Marlene then broke down and cried on the floor.

Marlene: "sobs" I'm sorry skipper!!"sobs" in sorry Rico!!"sobs"

Skipper then pulled her up and hugged her.

Skipper:.....it's...ok, I know Rico will pull together... He's a strong penguin...

Marlene: "sobs" "sobs"

Skipper then walked Marlene back to her habitat, and then waked himself home, waiting for the seguinte day...

The seguinte day...skipper and Kowalski and private walked over to The clinic to visit Rico, as they opened the door, Marlene was already there, sitting seguinte to Rico.

They all sat seguinte to him, and talked to him... Even though he couldn't hear anything...they wanted to talk to him still.

Suddenly the doctor walked in to check in him.

Skipper:doctor, what's wrong?

Doctor: I've...got some bad news...

Skipper and the others turned to him.

Doctor: Rico's condition is getting worse....I'm afraid he may never recover.... If you want to end his suffering, you can pull the plug....or let him sit there and wait....

Marlene:no! He's not dying!! He's a strong penguin!! Hell make it!!

Skipper: I agree with Marlene!

Kowlaski:u guys...I think we should.....

Skipper and Marlene looked at Kowalski with anger.

Kowlaski: look at him!! He's in pain!! I hate seeing him like this!!"sobs" "sobs"

Private then backed away from the room.

Private: lets all calm down... We can think of a deacon tomorrow.

Doctor: he's right....I'll be in here tomorrow to make the descion.. I'll let you all decide.

The doctor then left the room.

Private: lets all go início and think about this..

Skipper: what's there to think about?! The descion is to keep him alive!

Kowlalski: descion!! Do you like watching him suffer!!!

Skipper: shut up!!!

Marlene: hey! Enough! Lets all go início and talk about this and comeback tomorrow...

They all agreed and decided to go home, skipper slept at Marlene's that night, angry at kowlaski, an Kowalski and private stayed at skippers...what descion where they going to make? Keep Rico and alive and hope he recovers...or pull the plug and let Rico's suffering end?

Well, the answer was simple. Rico barfed up a stick of dynamite and blew up the laser. Ikala was not happy.

"THREE...TWO...ONE...!"

Blowhole's base explodes in a firey ball of toxic gasses and total destruction. We feel the heat, depsite the fact we're at a reasonably seguro distance. No-one could survive THAT explosion.

Even Rico seems too upset to enjoy the, usually, delightful sensation an explosion gives him. I can't say I blame him. His leader and friends are in there.

Now, they were probably with Manfreedi and Johnson, where ever THEY are. They've most likely gone to a better place. I've never known Skipper to be religous, though there is a lot I don't know about him....
