"Earth?" asked Private. "Is it like our planet?" Kowalski paused, then he continued. "Originally it was a beautiful blue and green planet. Millions of lush plants and and polar ice caps were on the planet, it had vast oceans, like ours, that would roll and rumble across the sandy beach. Many things lived there, us penguins, otters, and even this group called, humans," said Kowalski. "Then why is it called, the Black Star?" asked Private. Kowalski sadly sighed. "Too much work," said Kowalski. "What happened?" asked Private. "You see, humans are greedy, evil, never-satisfied beings that always get what they want, even at the cost of those around them. They built these dirty machines that were dangerous and polluted the land, they didn't give a thought to it, they thought it made good progress. But it affected Earth, it began to heat up and melt the polar ice caps, the water became so polluted that they had to use extra powerful filters to drink it, and the air was so noxious that they had to wear oxygen masks. The clouds turned black with smog, the skies turned red, and the seas turned into a big glop of tar, sulfuric gas, and dead animals," said Kowalski.
"That sounds horrible!!" panicked Private. "It didn't stop there, eventually, a company in Antarctica called EDA began to terraform the planet Mars, which was succesful after just 5 years. They sent animais and plants to populate the newly-terraformed planet, which the populations quickly claimed the planet. Excited, they sent several animais who wanted to start a new life over here to start the progress of the Martian planet," said Kowalski. "Then why doesn't anyone else know this?" asked Private, sipping his tea. "They do know, what happened is that before they sent these people to populate the planet, they went through: Re-evaluation training, where they were taught to forget everything about Earth and everything that happened there, so they renamed it The Black Star, because from here, the smoggy clouds and sludgy oceans make the planet look like a Black Star," said Kowalski. "Kowalski sir? How old is The Colony to be exact?" asked Private. "The Colony, is a mere 14 years old, you were born here, because your mother was still carrying your egg when she was given re-evaluation training back on Earth, she had your egg after 2 weeks of being here, and you hatched a mês after," said Kowalski.
"How do you know Kowalski? Haven't you gotten the training?" asked Private. "I did, but I got all memory of Earth when the machine that drained all my memories of Earth broke down and released them into my brain instead. I was so dazed that they thought I was clear, so I came here as well" said Kowalski, closing the window as soon as he heard lobos outside. "Is that why your head looks a bit puffed up at the top?" asked Private. "Hehe, why yeah, that's why, but still though. I'm warning you Private, do not, tell anyone I told you this. Beware little Private, they will kill us if we tell any of the history on this Colony," warned Kowalski. "I understand sir, I promise not to tell anyone!!" promised Private. "Good, we friends?" asked Kowalski. "Yes, we're best friends, I will visit you whenever Skippah let's me go outside," said Private. Then, the clock on Kowalski's escrivaninha, mesa beeped. "Its getting late, now you go off to the guest room across the cabin, and settle yourself for the night, I will telegraph to Skipper that you're okay and that you merely got lost in the woods okay?" asked Kowalski. "Agreed," said Private, heading to the guest room.
