Pony: *In the station, buying a ticket. As soon as he gets the ticket, he runs across the platform, and boards his train.*
Hawkeye: *Preparing train for departure*
Stylo: *Looking at orders on paper*
Hawkeye: *Blows horn twice*
Signal Pony: *Turns signal green*
Hawkeye: *Drives train out of the station.*

Episode 97: Donut Gets Spooked

Railroad: Southern Pacific

Everypony on the Southern Pacific was busy driving trains with snow plows on the front, pushing snow off the tracks. Anthony, and Ryan were also busy clearing broken branches that fell onto the line after getting plowed clear.

Anthony drives the train of branches toward a wood chip factory, that turns the branches into small wood chips, used for mulch, and composting material. Today, he was driving this train with Roger. They were using two E7 diesels. An A unit, and a B unit.



Roger: I still don't see why you have to take the branches off the tracks.
Anthony: If we don't, it could damage our engines, or rolling stock.
Roger: Heh, it's just wood. What could it possibly do?
Anthony: Damage the wheelbase, or fuel tank. We don't want either of those getting destroyed. *Slows down as he begins to cruz a huge viaduct*
Roger: *Looks down at a muddy river 2,000 feet below them* Whoa. We're really high up.
Anthony: And this bridge is long. After we cruz this bridge, we just gotta go up a hill, and we'll reach that wood chip factory on time.

por the time they crossed the viaduct, Anthony began to increase speed on his train. The colina they were going up was at a 10% grade.

Anthony: How fast are we going?
Roger: Twenty.

Then, the coupling between the engines, and freight cars came undone, and the cars started rolling down the hill.

Anthony: Dammit, that's not good! *Stops the engine, and goes backwards*
Roger: *Looks in the rearview mirror, seeing the freight cars roll onto the bridge. They go too fast, and fall off, landing in the muddy river*
Anthony: *Stops the locomotives on the viaduct, looking at the freight cars* Aw dammit!
Roger: How do we tell Michael about this?
