Biography

Muse is a alternative rock band from Teignmouth, England, United Kingdom. The band consists of Matthew Bellamy on lead vocals, piano, keyboard and guitar, Chris Wolstenholme on backing vocals and baixo guitar, and Dominic Howard on drums and percussion.

They have been friends since their formation in early 1990 and changed band names a number of times (such as gótico Plague, Fixed Penalty, and Rocket Baby Dolls) before adopting the name Muse. Since the release of their fourth album, morgan Nicholls has also appeared with the band at live performances to provide keyboards, samples/synth,...

The new muse record was never going to be an acoustic bluegrass covers album, was it? Still, the suitably intergalactic trailer for The 2nd Law has already divided online opinion, with the bass-heavy clip causing some dubstep refuseniks to break ranks from the band’s legendarily loyal following.

So what have we learned about the album ahead of its September release? The clues come right from the opening title-card, when a disclaimer states: “The following visualização has been approved for all audiences por the motion picture association of Helium 3″, with not just a link to the official Muse...

Confide in me
Sustain on my apathy
You're such a mess
You can learn not to confess

You will not find it in me
Simply because I can't
Wake up and find it in me
I`m in a coma

You will not find it in me
You'll reveal all your pains again
We'll fall asleep
So deeply out of reach
For years feeling dead
We can fall right out of bed

You will not find it in me
Simply because I can't
Wake and find it in me
I'm in a coma

You will not find it in me
You'll reveal all your pains again

oi such a mess but I don't care
Simply because I can't
Wake and find it in me
I'm in a coma

You will not find it in me
You'll reveal all your pains again
Whether they wanted to or not, muse have pretty much established themselves as the resident "Twilight" band. After being frequently shouted out por author Stephenie Meyer, the British rockers' "Supermassive Black Hole" was featured on the soundtrack to the first film. It surprised absolutely no one that they were asked to record a song for the segundo flick in the franchise, "New Moon," but the band is pretty flattered to be the only artists to appear on both discs.

"It might be something to do with Stephenie Meyer and that she loves us," baterista Dominic Howard told mtv News. "We met her quite...

Someone asked me about Muse’s performances on NPA (Nulle Part Ailleurs) a while ago. NPA was a French talk-show with a bit of música and comedy thrown in the mix. So, now that I have nothing to do (my seguinte apresentação, show, gig is still 10 days away), I’ve gone through my hard-drive and found some old vídeos as requested.

muse are currently in the middle of their much-anticipated North American Tour; but instead of following that tour through various fan-made vídeos on YouTube, I keep indulging in their old material. Despite of what Matt might think about Americans and our knowledge of Showbiz (1999), I really do amor Muse’s first album just as it is.

Dom sported some incredibly cool yet daring lima, limão green skinnies at the recent Wembley spectacle which went down well with the fans, especially as the band rose from the centre of the crowd then walked through the middle to the stage.
In an interview with Matt, he's also shown wearing a pair of bright yellow skinnies! After Matt asks him why he always wears them, Dom jokes that they're "too tight to take off", while laughing. After a short pause Matt comments, "They're a bit gay aren't they?" Sounding slightly embarrassed, Dom replies, "Easy!"
Too late
Yeah baby it's too late
And time has made the spell obey
And now it's time to desecrate

But we had a dream
And it was meant to be
And we were beijar gods
Against all the odds

Now it's a crying shame
And it's a crying shame
You don't know who to blame
We'll never be the same
And it's a crying shame

Too much
And we demolished too much
And yeah we really fucked it up
And yeah baby you've lost your touch

But we had a dream
And it was meant to be
And we were beijar gods
Against all the odds

Now it's a crying shame
And it's a crying shame
You don't know who to blame
We'll never be the same
And it's a crying shame
And it's a crying shame

Everything about you is how I wanna be
Your freedom comes naturally
Everything about you resonates happiness
Now I won't settle for less

Give me all the peace and joy in your mind

Everything about you pains my envying
Your soul can't hate anything
Everything about you is so easy to love
They're watching you from above

Give me all the peace and joy in your mind
I want the peace and joy in your mind
Give me the peace and joy in your mind

Everything about you resonates happiness

Shame on you for thinking
You're an exception
We're all to blame
Crashing down to earth
Wasting and burning out
You're fading like a dead estrela
Harm is coming your way
It's coming your way

And you used to be everything to me
And now you're tired of the fighting
(Yeah! )
Tired of the fighting,
Fighting yourself!
Yourself! (x3)

Shame on you for thinking
You're all alone
If you want I make you wish you were
Failing to impress
Why can't you sleep with
Someone who'll protect you
Harm is coming your way
It's coming your way

And you used to be everything to me
And now you're tired of the fighting
(Yeah! )
Tired of the fighting,
Fighting yourself!
Yourself! (x3)

Pomposity, bombast, pretension and prog-rock: they're four crimes that blight the landscape of modern música and Origin Of Symmetry--the segundo record por Teignmouth, U.K. angst-rockers Muse--is guilty of every single one. But the truly astonishing thing about this record is the way it twists every one of these cardinal musical sins into spectacularly silly and starkly individual strengths. Where their debut album Showbiz was rightly dismissed as little mais than Radiohead-lite, here muse sound defiantly like their own band: on "New Born", they're torn somewhere between the purity of front man...

You could be my unintended
Choice to live my life extended
You could be the one I'll always amor
You could be the one who listens to my deepest inquisitions
You could be the one I'll always amor

I'll be there as soon as I can
But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before

First there was the one who challenged
All my dreams and all my balance
She could never be as good as you

You could be my unintended
Choice to live my life extended
You should be the one I'll always amor

I'll be there as soon as I can
But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before

I'll be there as soon as I can
But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before

Before you

You needed it when I was away
And no matter what I say
Your'll never forget when I wasn't there so
Why should I care?
I'm young but I know that I'm aroused

You know that I care
You should have been there
You know that I care
You should have been there

It doesn't matter where I have gone
I just can't afford to
Pay for all the mistakes that you have made
It's about time I was paid

I'm young but I know that I'm aroused

You know that I care
You should have been there
You know that I care
You should have been there

You know that I care
You should have been there
You know that I care
You should have been there

You know that I care
You should have been there
You know that I care
You should have been there

You're so happy now
Burning a candle at both ends
Your self-loving soothes
And softens the blows you've invented

Breathe in deep, and cleanse away our sins
And we'll pray that there's no God
To punish us and make a fuss

Crack's healing up
Future soul forgive this mess
You wait twenty years
And wind up alone, demented

Breathe in deep, and cleanse away our sins
And we'll pray that there's no God
To punish us and make a fuss

Breathe in deep, and cleanse away our sins
And we'll pray that there's no God
To punish us and make a fuss

The dia after the World Cup finals kick off in South Africa, muse will be at the Stade De France themselves, playing to 80,000 fãs at what will be their biggest ever headline show in mainland Europe. Today they are slumming it at the rather mais modest Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, a 17,000-capacity sports arena in the city’s 12th Arrondissement. On the avenues surrounding the venue – which looks like London’s O2 Arena inside and resembles a sawn-off, grass-covered pyramid from the outside – seated tickets costing 57 Euros are exchanging hands for three times their face value....

Matt Bellamy

Last time we met (The Conspiracist) he was pondering the end of the world. Today, there’s troubles closer to início for him…

How the devil are you?

– I’m not in a great mind-frame… I’ve had a rough week. But we’ve been playing concerts in the UK this week that have been amazing.

What’s been the best thing about this century?

– Blimey. I have a fishbowl memory; I am not very good at retrospectives. So I am going to say our apresentação, show, gig in Sheffield recently. The crowd were just mental. We’d played some shows in North America and Northern europa on the tour but it was a different...

Too many people left you in the cold
You want everything to change
Cause you are afraid of losing

We want everything to change
Cause we are afraid of losing

Tell me do you really need this
Tell me do you really care
Tell me do you really need this
Tell me do you really care
I don't think you really need this
I don't think you really care
I don't think you really need this
I don't think you really care

Too many young and too many old
To many people left in the cold

Now, I honestly would have rather had Brian May… The Edge is fantastic, of course, and what an honourable and timely nod to U2, especially after Bono’s unfortunate back injury, – but I just don’t see this potential pairing (Muse/U2) as anything “very, very special”. It’s probably just me, I’ve never been a huge U2 fan, not even during their Joshua árvore days.

What, exactly, does this have to properly do with all things music? Well, this Matt Bellamy is the very same Matt Bellamy as the Matt Bellamy that sings under the guise of Matt Bellamy in the Matt Bellamy-fronted rock band Muse. But beyond that, nowt. But it is Friday, you know. Not a lot generally happens on Fridays. Apart from Jonathan Ross. I tend to make sure I'm out...

So, anyway: Matt Bellamy - yes, that Matt Bellamy - reckons 9/11 was an "inside job", carried out in order to _"have an excuse to invade the Middle East"_. You probably didn't hear it here first. We didn't - we read CMU.

Hope they play House Of the Rising Sun!! Yay.
When They get up on stage, I'll be sure to yell, "Play House Of the Rising Sun, Whoooo!!" I will not say, "Play Cave!" Because Matthew hates playing it live, does he not?
