Have you ever watched a movie just because of a certain actor? If so, what movie and what actor?

I've only done that once, yesterday. It was that new movie, the Graves. It was terrible, the only reason i even watched it was because of Bill Moseley. Once he died, i stopped paying attention.

That's a great movie. And Johnny depp actually shows up in the last film in that series as a tv advertiser, as well.

the same here. but I watched Alice in wonderland because of him and now I am a totally fã of Alice in wonderland and is it one of the best filmes I´ve seen :D

One was "The Hunger" the other was "Labyrinth". "The Hunger" was just so utterly confusing, but "Labyrinth" encantada me. Hence I am a LabyFan today.

I was going to see "The Wolfman" with my paternal grandfather, since he's been out of my life for a while and it would be a chance for us to bond. Thankfully, he was a horror film addict like me so it worked out that way. xD
Well, I made the mistake of inviting my mother to come with us, and my grandfather invited his wife. They both wanted to see "Shutter Island", and my grandfather wouldn't take sides. *sighs*
So I saw a movie that made absolutely no sense because both my mother and step-grandmother wanted to see Leonardo DiCaprio in it.

So to answer your question, in some sense, I did. :)

I saw persiana, obturador island with my grandma, too. She didn't know what was going on because she fell asleep after the movie started (the snoring got a little distracting after a while) but i didn't mind becaust the movie did not make any sense.

Yes! This may sound bad but Ibasically only watch a film if it has an actor/actress in it that I ma enamoured with at the time.

For instance, I watched all of Christian Bale, Molly Ringwald, Winona Ryder and David Bowie's films because they were in them, and even though there were I couple I didn't wholly adore, the Bale and Bowie content was fabulous.

It's probably because I can't enjoy a movie unless there's someone in it whom I can empathis with, and I can only empathise with characters if I identify with them as an actor/actress.
