I need help!I'm building a research lab in the desert and I have planted some saplings but they won't grow!!!

I've added lights(beacons),a skylight,planted them in grass, and spaced them apart but they still won't grow!!!

If you have the proper lighting, they should grow. Try bone meal to speed it up (it takes a few in the new update(s)!) and double check your spacing. Height and width both count.

Good luck... I've had lots of problems with minecraft plants T-T

The answer is simple a try cannot grow in the desert if there is no water from the sky to rain on it. Otherwise, make a path leading to the nearest forest and plant them there and see what happens.
