Stephenie Meyer's Midnight Sun statement 

I too am confused, disappointed, shocked and saddened! I was really looking forward to reading Midnight Sun. I can't believe someone would do that to SM and also ruin it for the rest of us! Very selfish! So... even though SM recommended NOT reading the MS draft, I couldn't help myself. I must say I was very impressed; yet I was hooked from the first teaser chapter long before. I wasn't able to leave my computer. Oh, it makes the love story between Bella and Edward so much more intense! SM is so creative and writes the best love stories by far! However... the story doesn't end and I am craving more! I know it is selfish of me but I really LOVE her writing! This is a difficult time for SM and my thoughts are with her. And, I am hopeful that her fans will pull her through this. Also, I am hoping that when things settle and she can find some peace, maybe just maybe she will be able to finish MS and publish it. She deserves to have this success and to be rightfully compensated for it! So... I am hoping that after time heals fresh wounds and if enough fans are supportive yet encouraging enough just maybe she will finish the unbelievable piece. She has certainly done it again (or at least I thought so). I would so much love to have something to look forward to and would love to add MS to my Twilight collection. I will remain hopeful...I know she is not receiving any mail currently but I hope she is reading blogs to see how her fans support her and are wanting more!

I loved Midnight Sun. Seeing things from Edward's point of view is like having eyes and ears every where.It was very very very interesting.If I could see Meyer face to face,I would beg her to finish it.I am fascinated by the book.Just after reading Midnight Sun ,I realized many small but important things about each character,I mean Midnight Sun shows the personality of every character more clearly esp. Edward's family.For example I really didn't have any idea about Rosalie 's character more than she is a good-for-nothing selfish vampire but now I think rather differently.Meyer will add a glow to Twilight series by finishing Midnight Sun;Actually now it sounds Twilight is nothing comparing to midnight sun.Stephenie ,Please,Please,If you happen to read my note,please finish Midnight Sun;You don't know how all of us are dying to read it.

I know she's hurt and upset of being betrayed. But what about all her fans that support and love her work?? Just waiting on the finished product of Edwards View. Its not right, what happened to her. But why not just kick butt on another awesome book. And turn the cheek of then ones that did her wrong. Right is right and wrong is wrong. You cant change that. Its like shes punishing her fans too.

I just started the Twilight series about a month ago. I read them all in under three weeks and I started reading them again. From the beginning, I was craving Edward's view.
Twilight has been my escape from reality when it got to be too much. Like most people, I was intrigued by the just the thought of Midnight Sun and I couldn't help myself. I really hope that SM is able to finish the book! I really look forward to it. Yes, it was awful what happened, but it would still be nice to have a published book in my hands so I can finish it!

there are millions of fans wanting this to be published, and one person is stopping her? it really shows how much a celebrity cares about there fans when stuff like this happens, dont get me wrong i love SM, and i respect her decision, :)
