Alright guys, I have to say that I loved the episode last night. And for a very specific reason. But before I say it, I just want to remind you that I am a huddy shipper to the core.
Basically, the reason I loved last night's episode so much was the ABSENCE of huddy. I mean, after the emotional roller coaster that we've been on this season, it was nice to not have to worry about Huddy. In fact, the only real mention of Huddy all episode was when House shouted, "I'm not okay!" Wich is a tidbit that holds a lot of meaning, yet is small enough to not interfere with the episode too much.
Not to mention how entertaining it was to watch House and the team from the outside looking in. When Houses patient crashes and the whole team is wheeling him and Taub is up on topo, início trying to resuscitate - all which you only see in passing - was hilarious. And perhaps the funniest scene: when House barges in to tell Wilson of the trauma victim - SOAKING WET. You wouldn't be able to pull that off in a normal House episode because you would demand to know why he was wet.
One other entertaining thing about observing House's team from the outside: It really gives you perspective on just how much House terrorizes that hospital. Example: House's team bumps Wilson's patient in the O.R. It was also very fun to watch a typical dia in the life of James Wilson.
All in all, the episode allowed me to focus back on House instead of Huddy. I know that there will be mais bad times with Huddy ahead, but I also hope that there are good times, too. Oh well, no mais House until January 11!

Ruins
Once I was whole.
Then I bursted
painlessly
unconsciously
indifferently
but I did.
Now I stand in front
the ruins
of myself
and remain silent
in amazement.
A shadow on a wall
Without turning around
I know
it is you.
Why are you here?
Did you follow me?
Have you come here
to examine
the frutas of your labour?
And then I realize
you suffered
the same.
Both of us were not made
to win
in this game.
The shattered pieces
are not replaceable
not even
to be found.
So both of us
remain silent
and keep on
staring at the ground.
