So I've finally finished the chapter!

House couldn't know why his mother was killed... she was one of the nicest people Wilson had ever met! surely she didn't provoke John?
"House... What the hell is that supposed to mean? What? She had a secret life or something?" Wilson said this in anger, not realizing how close to the truth he actually was...
House didn't answer.
He knew he owed Wilson a lot of things and he really wanted to try to make things right... just he couldn't tell Wilson, he didn't owe him this answer.

Oh yes, Blythe had had a secret life...
Behind closed doors, when the family portrait was taken the way John wanted it to: with fake, plastic smiles plastered on every face seguinte to his, showing him as the proud leader of the house seguinte to his perfect spouse and spawn, he turned into a monster.
Greg was his son... as far as perfect went, he was the exact opposite.

fell into rebellion and grew addicted to all the things his father didn't approve of... such a kick to hear John say that he was a disappointment: that meant he was unlike John himself... and he wanted to know for sure that he'd never turn out like that.
and now he was bigger, he could restrain his father when he was going after Blythe again... he'd save her from this, someday.
she'd be freed from him... and when she did get hit in situations beyond Greg's control, he'd promise her that over and over in a whisper as he listened to her sobs...
"I'll keep you save, mom: you and me are going to make it in this world... I'll keep you safe."

"I'll keep you safe."
The words resounded endlessly in his suddenly heavy head... never mind Wilson and his pleading cries: he should have kept her safe.
House was empty,
Blythe was dead,
and Wilson was still fighting it...

over the past few months Wilson had mastered the art of jumping a balcony divider quite well...
he entered with the sole intention of giving House one of his patented lectures, but couldn't even come out of his words when the moment arrived: House wasn't crying or something like that, just staring blankly ahead with the saddest look Wilson had ever seen fixed in his bright blue irises... Wilson could feel his already brittle coração being broken again.
His touch was like fogo to House skin... he fell off his chair in an attempt to get away from whatever object was assaulting him.
"House! just take it easy... I'm not going to hurt you." Wilson held up both hands in a show of innocence.
"Get the hell away from me!" House promptly stood up and tried to make his way to the door, only to find that Wilson had gotten there sooner.
"You're affected por this... so? Who wouldn't be? calm down, House... face it: you're human."
"Does it look like I want to? Get away from me! I didn't know what I was doing when I made that deal, alright? I'm never going to change, now move!" in his furiousity he pushed Wilson aside and stormed through the door... then out of the hospital and into his car.
