Yeah. Absolutely. I normally don't mind remakes, I think some are a necessary for the newer times and stuff but this one (and Halloween) just rightfully piss me off. Absolutely NOT necessary to remake them because everyone knows and is familiar with both of those movies. Especially if they're in the horror buffs anyway!
I have to say that Mark Wahlberg isn't one of my favorite actors, by far, but his acting was so bad in The Happening that I actually cringed every time he spoke.
What? Mark Wahlberg would be the ONLY thing salvageable about that movie in the least! I did like The Sixth Sense, but after that he just got retarded.
