​These days it seems pretty impossible for a member of One Direction to pass a salt shaker to a human of the female persuasion without the world\'s media almost combusting with excitement and speculating that it might be a secret coded message for them impregnating her or something.

Our favourite of these stories are when media outlets mistake people for potential love interests and today is no exception after the paparazzi rather hilariously mistook the band\'s stylist Lou Teasdale as the new love interest of Harry Styles.

Currently over in LA recovering from the AMAs, Lou and Harry headed out on a casual Tuesday afternoon shopping trip to Yves Saint Laurent and were caught on camera by some paps, who provided a rather colourful description of their antics by the time it came to pass the snaps onto the agencies who sell them. 

"He spent 45 minutes on a romantic shopping trip with a new female companion," it read. "The couple went shopping in West Hollywood on Robertson Blvd at clothes stores. Harry was seen being chivalrous opening doors for the attractive young lady."

Lols. Who knew shopping for jeans could have so much hidden romance in it.
