Okay, so I am sitting here with my broken toe, trying to finish off a book, and I think, "God. fanpop is just insanely awesome." I mean, big surprise, why would I be a part of something I don't like? But I am honestly so bored that I am going to make a list of ten reasons why I amor this place (in no order of importance).
Buy your comida and drinks right now, ladies and gentlemen, there will be no intermission.

1. The picks. The picks, the picks, the picks! As some people may know, I am an avid pick maker/answerer, and I just amor them! Whoever thought up that gem of an idea, nice. Just awesome.

2. The fans! I, surprisingly enough, have only been annoyed por about one person on this entire site! That is amazing, okay? I am a totally outspoken person and no one has really called me on my opinions. Everybody just seems to respect everybody else on here, and that is just awesome.

3. The Fanpoppies. hooch-is-crazy's brainchild, The Fanpoppies were just so much fun. If you have not joined that spot, do it now. It is amazing. And who doesn't amor the word "Fanpoppy?"

4. The support. From comments to props to becoming a fã of someone, there are just so many ways to support others on this site! It makes me feel like we are a big happy (if not incredibly dysfunctional) family here on Fanpop.

5. The idea in general. The idea of fanpop is insanely amazing. I amor the idea of being able to come on here and just talk about my favorito TV shows and not seem totally insane! (Because my friends don't watch a lot of the stuff I do so they think I'm mental when I quote it 24/7.)

6. The united Smurf hatred. Whether you are a Smurf hater or not, this just cracks me up. Some of the comment left in regards towards Smurfs (dazl) just make me laugh so hard.

7. The soapbox articles! These give the fãs a way to express their feelings about something, make and announcement, or just find an outlet for boredom (like I am right now). Plus, I amor leitura them and there are some darn creative people out here on this lovely site.

8. The lack of ads. Sure, there are some ads when you go to watch vídeos and stuff, and at the top, but other than that, fanpop is pretty much ad-free. I amor that fanpop has not sold out, like some other sites (coughmyspacecough).

9. The videos! I get to catch up with some of my favorito TV shows because of you guys! I actually first discovered this site because I was searching for some Office episodes, so there you go.

10. The icons. All the ícones you enviar are hilarious. Actually, my wallpaper is currently made of them. (I know, I have much too much free time.) Those things make me laugh so hard sometimes.

Well, anyway, as I sit here with my broken toe, trying to finish a book, I can't help but open up my computer and log onto my favorito site, Fanpop.

I amor it here.

If I added a H to the end it'd spell watch, yes, lol.

Anyways I have a pet peeve here :) I have never been bothered por the things that happen, the bullying I didn't attack over, the "optional" picks never bothered me...but the pet has now met my peeve and that is these spots/clubs to "help" Fanpop.

The message I always thought fanpop was trying to give here was to have fun. Enjoy the content, enjoy the videos, links and imagens posted and have discussions over things in the forums or picks or soapboxes. But with these little clubes I feel maybe the people in them have forgotten what fanpop should...

Tarah showing off those adorable kids of Shadd and Shaylie!
We've noticed that quite a few of the fanpoppers have shared a ton of awesome personal pictures in the spot image galleries. Temptasia and alinazeer have shared pictures of their kids. Johnminh has posted some great pictures demonstrating the flexibility of his legs as well as his face. PkmntrainerJ has put up a bunch of hair photos. And DrDevience has shared personal fotografias of her travels all over the globe not to mention her snazzy fanpop gear. We also have noticed that users like to mix up their user ícones every so often to keep things exciting and fun. You acted and we responded por building...

Now I know a lot of us just find images, save them and don't say where we find them, too much work, right? With general images, that's not that bad. With avatars/icons...some people would appreciate if you did credit them. My main problem with noticing the crediting is in fã Art.

fã Art isn't just a fotografia or picture created por someone for you to just take and claim as your own. It's something someone has created themselves. A lot of people have to put hideous water marks on their work after a while if people see it as a grab and take situation.

All it takes is when you find the picture add it straight to fanpop and have the page still up of who it belongs to. Write their name/screen name and what site it's from and this can clear up a lot of awkward perguntas of "did you make this?" and unhappiness of people finding their work uncredited on other sites.

Just something you should think about when you post fã Art seguinte time. Thanks :)

 My wonderful Hoodie
My wonderful Hoodie
Having already reviewed the website Cafe Press over on Epinions awhile back, I do not plan to go into the details of that website here today. I do, however, want to let other fanpop members to know just how great the fanpop stuff is.

link

I ordered the white Hoodie, the black long-sleeved t-shirt for women, the large coffee mug, and a sticker to put on my iMac. Hmmm I should have gotten two of those... one for my suitcase. Damn. but I digress...

I will say that it is easy to order from Cafe Press. My only gripe with them is that they don't take Paypal. You do have to give up the ol' Credit Card...

This morning, I was rummaging through my parent's closet and found some natal presents (yes, they were in the same place they are every year, but that's beside the point) and I took a sneak peek at them. Some were for my brother, but what I saw for me made me very happy.

After I finished looking through the presents, I returned to my room only to think "Wow, I really wish I hadn't looked through that stuff. Now not everything is going to be a surprise."

Spoilers remind me of this same dilemma. I ALWAYS want to look at the spoilers, but I know that if I do, then the episode will be spoiled...

A feeling of achievement, no matter how small, is still great.
A feeling of achievement, no matter how small, is still great.
Wow! About one dia ago, I got my first props! I was ecstatic! Temptasia gave me props for the Office vídeos I was contributing. And, then I realized something: recognition is what we really base our actions off of.

I first joined fanpop because I wanted to watch some cool videos, and because I was bored. I didn't really plan on doing much on it, just cadastrar-se a few key spots (my favorito TV shows). As I delved further and further into what this website had to offer, I began wanting to be a part of it. I began seeing names everywhere (Chel, Temptasia, Benji) and I realized I wanted to be recognized....
