Snow White is German. The dress is in the style of historical Bavarian dresses and the castelo and forests are similar to those in Germany.
cinderela is French. Her stepmother's last name is Tremaine, which is a French surname, and I believe a couple of people speak French in either the movie or the sequels.
Aurora is British. Her voice actress revealed that she had trouble speaking a British accent as the director told her to.
Ariel is from the made-up city of Atlantica under the water, a reference to Atlantis, but the general area that Eric lives in seems to be Denmark, so she's probably Danish.
Belle is French. This is mentioned, I believe, and people speak French a lot during the movie.
jasmim is from the fictional city of Agrabah, but her general area is the Middle East, probably Persia/Iran or Iraq.
Pocahontas is from Virginia. This is a historical fact because Pocahontas is a true story.
mulan is from Ancient China. This is mentioned several times, I believe, and again, the clothes and architecture is Chinese, as well as Mulan's makeup in the matchmaker scene.
Tiana is from New Orleans, Louisiana. This was mentioned in the song 'Down in New Orleans' and its reprise, as well as 'Friends on the Other Side' where Doctor Facilier tells Naveen and Lawrence 'that's an echo, gentleman, a little something we have here in Louisiana'.
Rapunzel is from a made-up kingdom called Corona, but it seems to be based on Germany or at least a European country.
Merida is Scottish. The accents say this and it is quite obvious to me.
I believe Elsa and Anna are Norwegian or perhaps Danish, because of the general area of all imagens released so far (and also Elsa and Anna seem to be names from the far north).
