A/N- Ok So I actually had some excellent feedback on my other "Beauty and
the Beast" oneshot so I think I am going to make them a series of oneshots.
I was requested to do something that went into the beast's past and I'm
gonna try a little something like the last one...you know with a flashback and
with a comparison, except I think im gonna be doing this one in the Prince/King's
point of view.

[Before The Transformation]

"Adam! Adam! Adam!" I heard my name being called repeatdly from outside
my room. Rolling my eyes I soon recognized it as my little sister Annabelle's
voice.
"What?" I asked annoyed as I opened the huge door. I didn't have time for this
childish nonsense, I was eight she was five, five ano olds and eight ano olds
just dont work well together.
"I just wanted to know if you wanna play with me!" She told me still excited as
ever, her brown hair tied back in a bun that bounced everytime she did and her
big blue eyes the same as mine danced with childhood innocent. It was almost
sickening how sweet and energetic she was.
"Hmmm let me see....." I saw her little face light up as I dragged out the last
syllable, "no," and with that I slammed the door in her face and walked back
over to my escrivaninha, mesa where I had been making up laws to pass one dia when I
was king.
"Mama!" I heard Annabelle sobbing and running down the hall to where are
parents, the king and queen, were. Great, she was going to get Mama involved.
I quickly stood up putting my pen down and smoothing out my elegant blue suit
and smoothing out the golden hair on my head. Mama was not going to be happy,
I have to talk her out of this one.
I rushed to the door but the segundo I opened it I saw a pair of fiery blue eyes.
Mama's hair was tied back but her golden curls were slightly erratic and the
look on her face was furious.
"Adam...what have I said about being nice to your sister?" Mama asked me
calmly but I could tell that she wanted to yell. I know she told me to be nice
to Annabelle, but she was just so annoying, why should I be?
"You have mentioned it...once or twice" I replied sticking my nose up in the
air and saw Annabelle peak out at me from behind Mama's dress, she stuck
her little tongue out at me making me absolutly furious.
"Why you little!" I yelled at her and ran around the other side of my mom but
Annabelle was to fast and she was already half way down the hall por the
time I had gotten back their, she meant to make me mad.
"Adam!" Mama yelled at me and grabbed my arm, I pouted up at her with big
blue eyes.
"But Mother she was taunting me" I told her almost calmly, trying to be a
persuasive prince.
"You have done much worse to her" She told me then dragged me por the arm
into my room while I tried my best to get away, but I wasn't tall enough or strong
enough.
"Adam she is just a little girl must you always be so mean to her!" Mama scolded
me while I sat down on my cama and crossed my arms over my chest.
"Well if I'm going to be King someday..." I began to explain but Mother cut me off
por holding up one of her fingers to silence me.
"Kings do not turn on their family, they rule with understanding and fairness,"
She told me gently the anger still their but slowly subsiding. I think she was
just irrated at how many times shes had to reprimend me lately.
"Thats not how Father acts" I scowled at the mention of my father, he had
been ignoring me for awhile now. So much for fairness and understanding.
"Like you act any better Adam" Mother told me while she turned to the window
and looked outside at the rose garden below.
Suddenly she turned on her heels and walked towards the door, but before
she left she turned and look at me and whispered "Adam be nice to Annabelle,
someday she might not be with you, and you would have missed your oppurtunity."

5 months later Annabelle died from an unknown illness, at the age of 6.

[After the transformation]

"Rose! Rose!" I yelled out my daughters name desperatly trying to find her
in the huge castle.
Lillian and Rose had just had a fight over who would be the seguinte ruler of France,
which in my opinion its a little early to be thinking about that, I mean im not
even dead yet. The fight ended in both girls crying and going opposite ways,
Belle and I had arrived at the end of the rampage and Belle had followed Lillian
to probably the library. Now I was looking for Rose.
Both girls were five now which is hard to believe since it feels like just
yesterday they were born.
Now Belle and I were expecting another baby in 5 months, we are both hoping
its a boy.
"Master?" I heard a strong french voice ask from behind me, I turned and was met
por Lumiere.
"Yes?" I asked him, Im sure he could see the crazy look in my eye. I was worried
about Rose, she was fast she could be anywhere por now and the castle
grounds were big.
"I just saw little Rose run out the front door" Lumiere told me smiling slightly and
pointing towards the door. I gave him a greatful smile and ran down the hall to the
door.
"Rose?!" I called out when I walked out into the warm spring day, the sun was
shining and the birds were cantar but I could hear little stamping feet coming
from the side that the Rose gardens were.
I walked around the corner the ground slightly wet still from the morning dew
and came to where the gardens began.
In the middle where the big fonte was little Rose with her arms propped up
on the side and her tears running into the water.
"Rose!" I called suddenly relieved that she was ok, she lifted her face and looked
at me her tear stained face nearly made me want to break down crying too. She
looked like someone so much at that moment, but I couldnt quite place it, but
it made me sad.
"Papa" She whispered back feebly as I came and sat down on the ground next,
to her, usually Kings don't sit on the ground, but right now I was a papa.
Papa. A word that when I was a beast never came to mind, I never believed I
would be called that. Everytime my little girl's call me that it puts a smile on my
face.
"Rose...you can't yell at your sister that way" I explained gently to her as I wrapped
an arm around her shoulders and she snuggled into my side.
"Why not?!" She exclaimed her temper slightly flaring again, her little arms crossed
over her chest and she put an adorable pout on her face.
"Because shes your sister and the matter that you were discussing isnt something
you need to worry about yet" I told her as I saw the pout go from just that a
pout to a little O shape.
"But Papa! I was born first!" She contradicted me disbelivingly, her bright blue eyes
were opened wide and she was about ready to jump up and stomp off.
Rose wasnt a brat, she wasnt spoiled either, but her temper was a problem sometimes.
It wasnt nearly as bad as mine once was but she definalty got this side of her
personality from me. Usually Rose was a sweet little girl, but she was a bit of
a smartalec[Spelling?].
"Rose...you were born 4 minutos before Lillian," I told her calmly as she stood up
and turned her back to me. I could see her let out a defeated sigh. "Anyway, neither
of you have to worry about ruling over the kingdom, if the baby turns out
to be a boy then he will become the King some day"
She thought about this and went over to one of the rosas and touched the
petals of it gentle as ever. I could see the defeated look on her face, and I knew
that she didnt like feeling vulnerble. She then stuck her tongue out at one of the
rose petals that fell off under her touch.
Thats when it hit me, little Rose looked almost exactly like Annabelle did. Rose though
had mais Belle than anything in her features, except for those clear blue eyes that
both Annabelle and I had shared.
"Really Rose...you and Lillian are two close of sisters to let something so
unimportant come inbetween you" I whispered slightly choked up at the thought of
my little sister, Mama had been right, I should have taken the chances to play with
her when I could, I could have atleast been nice to her.
"Alright...Alright I guess you are right papa" Rose sighed finally giving in and
dramatically turning to me and sly smile on her face, "Your just always right
aren't you?"
"No" I told her but smiled at the expression on her face, I opened up my arms and
she came and gave me a tight hug. "I amor you my little Rose," I whispered into her
ear as I gently stroked the brunette locks cascading from the topo, início of her head.
"I amor you too papa" She answered me back making my coração melt and my
face glow with fatherly pride.
"Rose?" I heard from behind us, we both turned and we saw Lillian still with a tear
stained face but a small smile in place of the frown from earlier.
"Im Sorry!" They both squeled out at the same time then ran towards eachother and
embraced. I felt someone come up beside me and me around the waist, I
recognized who it was immediatly.
"Isn't that sweet" Belle whispered to me as the girls began skipping up the path
talking excitedly about the book we had read together after jantar last night, they
were both smiling and giggling as if nothing had happened.
"Yes, yes it is," I replied and gave her a rápido, swift kiss on the cheek, we continued to
watch the girls play around the gardens as Belle patted the slight bump on her
stomach.
I regret the things I did when I was younger, but I now realize that everything
turned out perfectly.
