Okay I’m a week late but here is my artigo about watching Sleeping Beauty for the first time in years!

Like the artigo for Snow White and Seven Dwarfs I will write about;

1. How much I enjoyed/disliked the movie as a child

2. How much I have forgotten

3. Princess (will she be higher on my list or lower?)

4. Movie (will the movie be higher on my list or lower?)

5. Rating

6. How much has my opinion changed?

7. Would I watch it again?

Tonight's rewatch: Sleeping Beauty
Last time watched: February 14, 2009 (had a movie marathon that day)

So, how much did I liked or disliked this movie as a child?

Well, like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, this was another movie I was too scared to watch as a child, mainly because of Maleficent. She was the only reason I wouldn't watch this movie alone. But other than that, I did like to watch this movie when I was little, mostly the parts in the forest when Briar Rose sang Once Upon a Dream. I've seen some people not take that scene too seriously because she's just dancing with woodland creatures pretending to be a prince. And I have to ask, what's wrong with that? She's having fun playing pretend with her woodland friends, I think that's adorable! I was guilty of dancing with my stuffed animais like Aurora when I was a kid because I liked watching her do it. In fact, I actually used to think she really thought her animal friends really were a prince because, to quote my husband when we watched this together, I was just using cartoon logic. There were some things that happened in the movie I never really understood as a kid, like the fadas putting the kingdom to sleep or the part when Maleficent's goons were talking about searching a cradle, and I used to think the scene where Phillip was captured was supposed to happen before the scene where Aurora pricks her finger because I thought she was just setting a trap for Aurora and that the scenes were just mixed up (don't make fun, I was a toddler when I first watched this :P)

How much of this movie have I forgotten:

Okay, this is something I probably should have brought up in my artigo about SWatSD but I can't believe I forgot about how disney used to start their filmes with credits while the movie's main song plays. The same with the book opening and narration. I hope disney will do this again someday, even if it's only in one movie. I know in encantada they did a book opening but that was animated so I'm not counting it.

I've always loved the three good fadas but I forgot how sweet and funny they were. Like the dwarfs, each fairy brought something to the mesa, tabela and they were equally entertaining. I laughed so hard when I saw Flora's dress for Aurora and Fauna's cake. I've seen the messed up cake a million times but I had completely forgotten that she hadn't even baked it yet before putting frosting and candles on it. I had also forgotten that Merryweather had the same voice actress as Lady from Lady and the Tramp while Flora had the Fairy Godmother's from Cinderella.

And I totally forgot that Aurora's animal friends straight up robbed Prince Phillip. I can't tell if they just took his clothes to lead him to Aurora but all I know is, they just took his clothes and cheesed it.

As much as I think Aurora and Phillip are an adorable couple, like Snow White and her prince, I can't really amor them since they just fell for each other really quick.

While the scene where Maleficent put Aurora in a trance and had her prick her finger on the spinning wheel didn't scare me as much as it did when I was a kid the música still freaked me out a little bit.

Princess:

I thought Aurora was sweet and I liked watching her scenes and listening to her cantar but she doesn't leave much of an impact as the other princesses in the lineup. And while I did feel sad for her when she was told she could never see the "handsome stranger" again, I couldn't take it as seriously as when Ariel cried on the pier or when cinderela cried after her mother's dress was ripped up. Aurora was 13 on my list, and while I didn't enjoy her character as much as I did Snow White, I'm going to bump her up to 11. I know that's not much but I still liked her! I just like the other princesses more.

Movie:

My husband and I had fun watching this together but I'm sad to say we weren't as into it as we are when we watch other disney movies. This movie is 11 on my list and for now I'm going to leave it there. Like I said about Aurora, I didn't hate this movie I just like the others more.

Ranking: 5/10

How much has my opinion changed?

My opinion hasn't changed much, I still loved watching Aurora's scenes and I still loved the fairies. This movie just doesn't leave much of an impact on me as much as other disney movies.

Would I watch it again?

Maybe!

seguinte week I'll be doing Pocahontas! :)
This native American princess has just one dress through out the film, just one. So this may not take long. If I have missed out on a dress that's not mentioned please comment below and I will definitely cover it on the seguinte article.

1. Native dress
This is for a nice dress and is pretty. It's a light brown dress, a blue colar and that's it. It's not really exciting but for and i would not wear it, but its OK. 5/10

Since we are half way through my artigos of disney princesses (6 left to do the seguinte being Mulan) i will now explain the best scores so far on my opinion pesquisa and see if you would...

Happy (belated) Mothers’ Day, fanpop! I meant to post this yesterday but got busy. In honor of Mothers' dia this month, I've put together a ranking of how I imagine the princesses themselves would be as mothers. I’m including Anna and Elsa in this list, though instead of assigning them a number their names will be placed in parentheses where they would fall on the list, in an effort to keep those who don’t like seeing them on DP lists happy. Let me preface this por saying this is not set in stone. it's just a prediction based on what I've seen of the princesses in their movies. I don’t...

The Most Beautiful amor Story ever Told!
The Most Beautiful Love Story ever Told!
Hi guys, since the release of Disney's Beauty and the Beast back in 1991. Here are my favourite Pop version of the theme song in no aleatório order and what I think about the song, as well as the singers themselves.

Beauty and the Beast (Celine Dion & Peabo Bryson)

When I first heard the song, I immediately fell in amor with it! Especially Celine's voice and the arrangements of it. Peabo Bryson was another amazing singer in his own rights and I was very glad that they were the perfect singers to do this iconic song!
This song has been part of my childhood and I was happy that it is part of...

I wanted to write an artigo on things and concepts from DP filmes that struck me with awe, left me speechless, inspired me and made me believe that magic is for real. The things that truly symbolized all the charm of magical world.

10. Cinderella's transformation and waltz with Prince:
This is what the dreams should be made of, this is what heavens feel like. Everything poor and dirty will change to new and shining, on flick of a wand. That silvery blue vestido and crystal white carriage and moonlit path to a castelo makes me sigh. And the waltz was so pure magic, with unbelievably gorgeous moonlit...

All right, this doesn't count as a real artigo por me. This counts as a aleatório blurb...addressing the DP stereotype that all of the prior disney Princesses save the Revival/ Modern ones... all married their guys the same dia they met them.

Broken down, as I have watched all thirteen movies... this is what I FOUND out is the ACTUAL CASE.

Snow White meets Ferdinand within the first five minutos of the film, and he woos her so to speak. But many, many, many DAYS PASS before he comes upon her in the coffin in the woods, figuratively "dead" from a poison maçã, apple bite. At the end of the movie, Snow...
