A disney Tale: A young girl is forced into drudgery por her step-family, only to win the coração of the kingdom's Prince and live happily ever after.

disney Hero: Ostensibly, the 'hero' of cinderela is the Prince (never actually referred to as Prince Charming, despite that being what he is generally known as today. Some sources have him named as Henry.). It is he who romances cinderela and desires her as his wife after the ball. But, actually, the real heroes of cinderela - for me - are Jaq and Gus, Cinderella's mice friends. They are the one's who rescue cinderela from her attic room. Jaq is also responsible for battling Lucifer and saving many of his rato friends. I amor Jaq and Gus!

disney Heroine: cinderela is the first heroine of a disney movie since Snow White to have a life outside the movie. As a character, she is iconic and forms an integral part of the 'Disney Princess' branding. Now, I had a lot of issues with Snow White as a character and, fortunately, the script and story for cinderela get a lot mais right, although Cinderella's character is tied to the tropes required of her due to being a 'fairy tale princess'. I think a clear difference between cinderela and Snow White is that cinderela feels like a grown-up. Despite being forced into a life of drudgery por her horrendous step-family, she continues each dia to meet their demands whilst still believing in her dreams. She's a hard worker too and, although she probably should be kicking up mais of a stink considering how unfairly she is treated, she performs her tasks diligently and competently. I like cinderela in a way I definitely did not like Snow White.

disney Villain: cinderela presents us with a triumvirate of villains in the shape of Lady Tremaine, Cinderella's stepmother, and Drizella and Anastasia, her vile stepsisters. Lady Tremaine is the focus of the villainy and has a truly malicious attitude towards her stepdaughter. Tremaine isn't a villain who seems to have entered into the topo, início tier that's occupied por the likes of Ursula, Cruella de Ville and the Evil Queen. She tends to get forgotten and I think that's a huge shame. She is a great villain - she's manipulative, scheming and downright nasty throughout the film. Maybe it's the fact that her villainy is on such a small scale, or that she has no extremes to her character, or even that she isn't a magical character. But whatever it is, Lady Tremaine, for me, deserves mais recognition.

Alongside Lady Tremaine are anastasia and Drizella. In a way, they are Tremaine's bumbling, comic sidekicks is a similar vein to Iago, Le Fou or Pain and Panic. They are spoilt brats who like to bully Cinderella. What's interesting is I know that anastasia becomes slightly mais sympathetic as a character por the time cinderela III: A Twist in Time comes around. But for now, they exist only to be horrid to Cinderella, especially in the scene where they rip her dress apart to prevent her from going to the ball. They also have the classic scene where they try on the glass slipper only to find their feet are far too big and clumsy. The original version of cinderela has the stepsisters cutting off their toes and heels to make the slipper but disney hasn't pursued this element (although it does finally appear in Into the Woods along with other less savoury aspects of various fairy tales).

There is, of course, one mais villain in cinderela - Lucifer, the cat. He is the nemesis of Jaq, Gus and the other mice. There is a very long sequence involving Lucifer and the mice which is hugely entertaining. cinderela wasn't a film I'd ever paid much attention to before this marathon and one of the delights has been discovering Lucifer. He is a great character and a brilliant foil for the mice. The cat and rato chase scenes, particularly with him and Gus, are some of my favourite parts of the film. Lucifer is an amalgam of his mistresses, in a way - he has the scheming, sinister nature of Lady Tremaine accompanied por the clumsiness of her daughters.

disney Sidekicks: cinderela is also gifted with some classic disney sidekicks in the form of Jaq and Gus. With their 'not quite English' style of speech and high-pitched voices, they are a great addition to the film. Their battles with Lucifer and their friendship with cinderela are, for me, at the core of the film - probably moreso than the romance between cinderela and the Prince. Jaq's bravery and Gus's naivety give us likeable characters.

disney Creatures: Accompanying Jaq and Gus are a plethora of other mice, including the girls, Perla and Mary and Suzy, Bert and Luke who accompany Jaq and Gus on their comida raid and various others who aid in the making of Cinderella's dress. cinderela also features a template for disney creatures which reoccurs in quite a few other films. At the house there is Bruno the dog, a horse and various birds. A group of animais residing in a barn, including cavalos and cachorros reappear in The Aristocats and 101 Dalmatians with variations on this theme popping up in Lady and the Tramp and The raposa and the Hound.

disney Magic: cinderela includes one of Disney's most famous magical characters - the Fairy Godmother. She is iconic in her hooded, blue capa and large purple bow and thanks, in no small part, to her catchy song. What tends to be forgotten is that she doesn't actually appear in the film for very long and is really just a plot device to get cinderela to the ball. The magic she casts is primarily of the transformative kind, although like all magic, it comes at a price. The transformations only stay until midnight. It suggests that, ultimately, she isn't the most powerful of magic wielders. Unlike a character like the Genie, she can't create something out of nothing and with all the items needs something ordinary to transform into something special. She is fun, though.

disney Land: It isn't clear exactly where cinderela is set. The original fairy tale of cinderela is actually common in many countries in various forms, but the disney version is most closely based on the French version. Certainly the presence of a rato called Jaq would suggest a French setting, but that is about the only clue. The clothes worn por the characters are at the very least European in style probably from around the 18th or 19th Century.

disney Songs: Cinderella, as a film, is not actually packed with songs although it does feature some which are recognised as classics. Principal among these is the Fairy Godmother's song, Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo. This is a fun song accompanying the transformation scenes. It has been rerecorded numerous times over the years por various artists and my favourite is probably Louis Armstrong's rendition. The film version actually has quite a long instrumental section which I often forget is there having listened to the song countless times on 'Best of Disney'-style soundtracks.

cinderela has her own song, A Dream is a Wish your coração Makes, which opens the film after the prologue and serves to introduce Cinderella's situation and worldview. It has clear echoes of Snow White (and Sleeping Beauty to come) with the animais sitting around listening to her sing. Later in the film, she joins in with anastasia and Drusilla's música lesson, cantar Sing, Sweet Nightingale whilst washing the floor. Needless to say, her rendition is a lot better than Drizella's singing. So This is amor is another song revolving around cinderela which is sung por cinderela and the Prince whilst they dance at the ball. It's not a song I particularly like, although there have been a couple of covers which have been, in my opinion, better arrangements of the song.

The other principal song is The Work Song, sung por the mice as they make Cinderella's dress. It's cute, catchy and contains the classic word 'Cinderelly'! It definitely ranks in segundo place, behind Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo as one of my favourite songs from this film.

As with Snow White, the traditional 'villain song' still isn't a definite presence in disney films (and it will be sometime before it is) although, technically the villains do get a song as Lady Tremaine also joins in a little of Sing, Sweet Nightingale along with Drizella.

disney Finale: cinderela is a film which, up until this marathon - and also rewatching it with my children - had been one I'd dismissed from an age of disney which never appealed to me as much as others. I think, mentally, I had it lumped in with Snow White and Sleeping Beauty as twee princess films with not particularly good songs. Having rewatched it, I found much to enjoy and, as I say, find cinderela a much stronger character than Snow White ever was. I was surprised por how much the mice and Lucifer feature and how entertaining their segments are.

I also rather like the King and Grand Duke, desperate to see the Prince married. The King's amor for his departed wife is actually rather sweet and the Grand Duke's bumbling is fun.

cinderela has definitely gone up in my estimation and is a true disney classic.
Hmm, have I written an artigo on this? It seems vaguely familiar, but I looked through like five pages of my artigos and didn't see it, so I'm gonna write it anyway, hizzaaa! Remember this is purely opinion based, so don't be mad if it strays from your own list :3 I hope you enjoy! //edit; I decided to change it up and instead of ranking the princesses, talk about what makes them all a good role model and not talk about the bad parts (because positivity yayayyy).

Snow White

Snow's a trooper, plain and simple. She's fourteen years old, the youngest of all the princesses, and yet despite that...

I am currently working on a bigger artigo where all the songs are ranked. But here are my favoritos from each movie. And some runner ups :) (I will include runner ups where the 2nd place could have a chance at beating the 1st place) So let's begin! Warning: You'll be hearing a lot of "love" here. Bonus warning: English isn't my first language. :)

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

I'm Wishing/One Song

Oh, how I amor this song. I amor the opening, lyrics, voices, melody, romance and the ahahahahah. I'm not laughing, I'm just trying to sing like Snow in my head. But my favorito part is when the prince...

Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs - One Song
This song is very romantic, I think I would die if a guy sung this to me. If only there was someone out there who loved me... the same way Prince loves Snow White *tear* Not to mention Prince has the voice of an angel who has fallen from the sky.

Cinderella - A Dream is a Wish Your coração Makes
This is a very soothing and relaxing song. But what makes me amor it is that it makes me hope for a better tomorrow, just like the lyrics suggest. It makes me feel all tingly and happy inside!

An enormous thanks to the biggest and best Elsa fã I know, link from tumblr, who did most of the work when I asked her for ideas on who Elsa would like best (I used much of her own words, so most credit to her, but paraphrased as much as I dared). She has a better understanding of Elsa's character than anyone I've known. Thanks to everyone else who gave me their ideas as well!

Elsa's topo, início and bottom princesses were relatively easy to guess without help, but I had a lot of difficulty with the middle ones, because parts of Elsa's personality we don't get to see, just the obvious things like valuing...

Bonjour!!! Over the last few weeks, I created quite a few pesquisas which asked fãs to eliminate their least favourite disney Princess (including Anna and Elsa) hairstyle, and princesses were eliminated until the topo, início two. This is basically a results countdown of those polls, with descriptions as to why. I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who voted and commented why - your help was appreciated!!
This is not based on my opinion - if you are interested in my choices, I am composição literária a Part 2 which explains my opinion.

13. Aurora-
Poor Aurora. Although Aurora is Fanpop's least outspoken DP, she is known for her amazing grace, beauty, and charm. She is known for being kind to others. It is also very good that not all the DP's are outspoken because it makes each of them different.

carrieicecream- I think shes outspoken, I dont know.

CraZyRawR- She is actually mais outspoken than cinderela or Elsa.Cinderella doesn't stand up to her step-family and Elsa barely talks to anyone else.

DBZFAN789- Aurora shouldn't have been able to compete AT ALL!...{insert...

I was thinking about it today, and I realized that my favorito princess was either Snow White or Cinderella. Why? Because Snow White and cinderela are both utterly oblivious. Snow, even after almost being killed, still keeps a cheery attitude. She seems to almost forget that The queen is trying to slaughter her. It's like Snow White doesn't think about anything that's not in front of her very eyes. She remains mindlessly happy while dressed in rags and forced to act as a servant.

Cinderella, on the other hand, is a little less oblivious. Okay, a whole lot less. But still, she only ever gets...

OK, as most of you may know, Ariel and jasmim are the only two disney Princesses to have their own series. Ariel's was "The Little Mermaid," (which was also the name of her movie), and Jasmine's was "Disney's Aladdin," (also the name of her) movie.

At times, I've thought to myself, "what if the other princesses had their own series?" Well, that's what my series of artigos is here to find out. I'll be composição literária a series of artigos describing how it would be if the princesses, excluding Ariel and Jasmine, had a series of their own. I'll explain the settings, the premise, and may even have episode...

10. Merida's Dark Green Dress

I thought this dress was dark blue until I realised that in daylight this dress is actually dark green, but anyway this dress is gorgeous, the color is lovely and the dress is simple yet stunning, but it's not any higher because while I amor the color the color is too dark for my taste

13. Ariel

I think she's cute in a pretty way, her eyes have a lovely blue color, her smile is adorable, the color of her lips is pretty and her nose is normal sized, but I don't really like the rest of her features, while her eyes wouldn't look better if they where smaller I'm not too keen...

I was thinking I amor most DP dresses so why not not share what i think with you! Let's get started!
1. Elsa
Elsa's dresses are all different in their own way. Elsa starts out in a blueish purpleish dress that suits her personality. Elsa seems to have always loved blue so that may be why all Elsa's dresses are blue. Her coronation dress is VERY similar to her childhood dress(except for the cape). Elsa's first two dresses are pretty but my favorito is DEFINATELY Ice queen dress. It's blue(of course) and really shows her true personality. The torso of her dress is my favorito part. The little pieces...

I want to do this for all the disney princesses but mulan has to come first she is like my favorito princess, but still not my favorito princess. She is just so awesome. I'll try to not be redundant but pardon me if I do. Without further introduction, here are the reasons I amor Mulan.

mulan shows independence, maturity, bravery, everything a lot of the mother princesses seem to be lacking. She is a amazing role model for young girls, por her being the heroine, saving a whole country and the person she loves, yet putting her family before love, and making her man come to her rather than the...

OK, I just got finished watching Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante and what did I think about it?

It. Was. GREAT!!!

Let me start off with the animation. Fantastic. The visuals are stunning, especially when Elsa uses her powers. Hell, she practically steals the show in this category. The lighting and brightness in this film were great; during the dark and light scenes to be specific.

Now for the songs. From topo, início to bottom, the songs are fantastic. From "Love is an Open Door," to "Let It Go," and "For the First Time in Forever." Although I'd have to say my least favorito one would be "In Summer," mainly for the visuals and...
