favorito disney Princess Dance Sequence Countdown

So I really, really, really amor the disney Princess dance sequences, particularly with the waltz, as I find it to be so sweepingly romantic! The animation of the dance, the way the dress twirls with the women, the romantic and powerful score in the background, the gorgeous scenery in the background and the usually gorgeous dress worn por the princess... I amor everything about these sequences! That's not to mention the show of romantic amor developing. I am very much an old soul so I really amor the process of "courting" which often included the man taking the woman out to dance or dancing with her at some point before they've ever even kissed or held hands. Also, if you didn't guess, I amor dancing (especially ballet and contemporary). Since I recently did a pesquisa with these dance scenes, I thought it would be fun to rank them. So here is my ranking of all of the little dance sequences in disney Princess films. I hope you guys enjoy it and I'd amor to hear your comments!:

10. charlotte & "Naveen": I thought this dance was really boring. I'm sorry to Charlotte-lovers but I really don't appreciate her spoiled brat, ungrateful, gold-digging, aggressive personality. I know, I know, she has some good traits too like she is loyal, considerate, empathetic and kind. Unfortunately it's her bad side that's highlighted in this dance and not her good side. I could feel her aggressive nature during the whole dance. The way she points at the prince to Tiana really kills it for me because she wasn't genuinely falling for him. Additionally, I don't like the close-up on the waltz because I like to see the entire dress when spins and turns are done.

9. Rapunzel & Eugene: I'm sorry but I have to be honest, I really don't like Rapunzel & Eugene as a couple, they are my least favorite. That being said, I actually really amor the "Kingdom Dance" scene in enrolados but I was disappointed that Rapunzel & Eugene never danced together. They participated in the group dance but I prefer the beautiful romantic waltz so for this countdown, this kind of had to be very low.

8. Tiana & Naveen: Short, simple, sweet. mais along the jazz/swing style but still a really cute scene, in my opinion. (And I absolutely adore balanço dancing and wish it would make a comeback!) I amor how Naveen catches Tiana and spins her around. I also amor how they dance their way from the balcony to the rooftop under the stars. Very beautiful scene and nice, upbeat little song. Romantic yet upbeat ending.

7. Anna & Hans: Possibly one of the shortest waltz scenes but gorgeously animated nonetheless. I amor to see the twirl of the dress as well as the partner spins, I think it's so beautiful. The "Winter Waltz" is one of my favorito scores from a disney princess film. I amor the sweeping and gorgeous feel of it.

6. Belle & Beast: Iconic movie, dress, song and scene: It's all there! I amor this scene a little mais than I amor the dance sequence though. It melts my coração when Belle initiates the dance with the Beast, pulling him from the jantar mesa, tabela and into the ballroom, then "teaching" him to dance. Admittedly, I don't prefer the close-ups of the dance scenes, particularly with a waltz, as I amor to see the twirl of the dress in the spins. My favorito part is when the camera pans down from the ceiling and you see the Beast spin Belle out just before he glides her around the room and then she lays her head into his chest to his surprise. So romantic and heartwarming! I especially amor the ending with all of the stars as backdrop behind the enormous and gorgeous ballroom. Beautiful scene.

5. Belle & Adam: First of all, I completely admit that this sequence is an exact copy Phillip & Aurora in Royal Court since the animators didn't have time to construct a new one for Belle & Adam in Ballroom. That being said, I still like it in it's own way because I amor seeing Belle dance with her human prince instead of the Beast. I amor the way Adam picks Belle up and as he twirls her around, they magically change into the ballroom outfits and proceed to dance. I also amor the subtle change that this time, he leads her into the dance now that she has already taught him. Also, this scene makes me cry! It's so beautiful and I amor watching the two twirl away into the happy ending they both were searching for. I also amor the way Belle holds her dress in this, as Aurora holds hers as well. I amor watching the camera zoom out as they twirl around the ballroom, very beautiful. Also, I think the ballroom is slightly mais stunning than Aurora's Royal Court. (Beautiful windows to see the sky and as cores outside!)

4. Aurora & Phillip In Royal Court: I amor the score to this scene, "Awakening"! (Top 5 DP scores!) I amor how in amor Aurora's eyes look while she is dancing with Phillip, never looking away. Although Phillip never spins Aurora on her own, they make gliding across the floor look so gorgeous and romantic! I also amor how Flora and Merryweather continue their magical fight throughout the dance so we see Aurora's dress not only change from blue to rosa, -de-rosa magically, but various shades within the blue and rosa, -de-rosa range. It's also so enchanting the way the ballroom turns into the clouds and I absolutely adore the storybook "Happily Ever After" ending. It's also always nice to see the waltz end with a "true amor kiss".

3. Ariel & Eric: I absolutely adore the score "Tour of the Kingdom" that plays during this dance! (Top 10 DP Scores!) I amor the way it captures the feel and excitement of Ariel without losing the elegance and beauty of their time and especially, dance together. The way the música picks up just as they start dancing is so moving... I amor the way Eric spins Ariel, dips her and even lifts her! He gave her the full dancing experience. It is so romantic and it's the scene where they really start falling in amor and it's so beautiful to watch. Short but astounding. Ariel's face when Eric lifts her is pretty much exactly how I feel the entire scene.

2. cinderela & Prince Charming: "So This Is Love.. so this is what makes life divine.. I'm all aglow and now I know the key to all heaven is mine." As a little girl and a married woman now, this scene always makes me gush! It's so stunning and romantic. Possibly my favorito scene and it's the perfect length as well. I absolutely adore the foreshadowing at the beginning of the dance when they are dancing in the ballroom in front of everyone and just as Lady Tremaine starts to recognizing her, they leave and she is shut off from Cinderella. It is so romantic how the prince takes her to the courtyard to dance beneath the stars! Such absolutely gorgeous and stunning scenery!

1. Aurora & Phillip in Forest: First of all, Aurora embodies femininity, romance, and grace to me in all of the best ways. She reminds me of a ballerina and I amor ballet and dance. That being said, I think it's only fitting that her waltz is at the topo, início of my countdown. This scene is absolutely mesmerizing to me! I amor dancing, I amor the forest, I amor classical música and I amor Tchaikovsky! The part where the lake(?) meets the forest and reflects their dance beneath them is so breathtaking and iconic! I also amor the slow twirls for a mesmerizing effect, it is so scenic to see the dance mirrored in the forest and in the water. Definitely my all-time favorite.

Diazdiaz95 The Sleeping Beauty scene is gorgeously animated and it's got the music of Tchaikovsky so I can't help but love it, it's a great scene. I generally agree with the placements and I think the article was very well written and I like how you used stills from each dance. I'm surprised that the iconic Beauty and the Beast one isnt higher but I understand why it is whereit is. Great article :)

I love how you have pin-pointed so many of the minutest of details like Aurora's foest sequence mirrored in the lake, BATB ending similarity with Aurora's ending, Look on Airel's face when Eric picks her up. I'm a dance lover too, I have learnt Jazz and Kathak professionally. My hearts swells when i watch some of these beautiful sequences, esp Cinderella's, Aurora's and Belle's. My placement's would be somewhat different than yours as i would factor emotional and romantic love development as well as a major factor. You have too, but i think your first and foremost criteria was to see how the dance was, if I'm not interpreting it wrong. Please do tell, if I'm seeing it wrong. But I find your description very beautiful and detailed and I could picture you dreaming while reading this yourself :D My top 5 would be like this: Cinderella's dance - I'm so much love in this dance for all the reason you say. But perhaps i enjoy the music here more than Aurora's forest one and how cinderella was totally lost in love, her first experience of love was heart-achingly beautiful. It does feel heavenly, like the song says. Aurora's forest sequence - for same reasons as yours Belle with Beast - for same reason as yours and a major factor that Beast found love too in that moment. It is like you say heartwarming. Ariel and Eric - for same reason as yours. I love how Ariel's wish for dancing was coming to be true for her with the man she loved already in her heart. I just wish Ariel had a more flowing dress for this, but i know as part of story it wouldn't have fit in. Aurora and Philip in royal court - the pink and blue change of dress is entirely too cute to forget and the dance was also amazingly beautiful.

I wanted the pictures to represent the feel and look of the dance so I'm glad you liked them too. I know, I really do love the Beauty & Beast ballroom dance but I just really love the dances a little more plus I like the music for the others more. I am a very detail-oriented person so I couldn't help put point out those details you mentioned. (Plus I watched all of the sequences in order to rank them so the scene was fresh in my mind and more available for details.) I took dance in high school as well as some ballet classes in studios but my mother didn't want to support my dance but it still remains very close to my heart. I find it to be very soothing, relaxing and stress-relieving. I used to love the challenges of certain turns and jumps etc. Anyways, sorry. I factored emotional and romantic love development as a major factor as well, but I think you and I have different perceptions on the couples. Also you are right, I ranked heavily based on the dance but in my mind, I really see the dances as being very romantic so I think they are bit overlapping in my brain. I was also ranking on my reaction to the dance, how mesmerizing it was and how much it stuck out to me after seeing it. (For example, "Once Upon A Dream" dance in the forest often randomly pops up in my brain the most.) So I think that put extra emphasis on the music as well. I agree with you so much that Cinderella's dance is heart-achingly beautiful and feels very heavenly! That's why I had to include those quotes! <3 I love how Ariel's wish for dancing came true too, and of all people, with the man she was already falling for! I wish this scene would've been a tad longer because it was so beautiful and I'm sure you know, I love the score in it. I love Ariel's blue dress but I agree with you that it would've been nice to see her in a more flowing one. It's a shame they didn't dance again at their wedding or something, that would've been nice I think. The dress change is definitely "entirely too cute to forget", I agree! I love the reasons you gave for your top 5! And I completely respect and understand your ranking. We almost have the same top 5 but different order. :D

anukriti2409 I agree about Ariel's dancing sequence to be longer. And i did wish exactly for her to sing and dance at her wedding. Yes, we do have same Top 5 too, yaaayy!! :D And I meant your pointing out details as a compliment as I didn't remember few of them myself. Aurora's dance mirroring was specially a nice moment, definitely. I find dance to be soothing and stress-relieving too!

PrincessAyeka12 I agree with everything you've said. The dance is the most romantic moment for me too, as well as the visuals. My ranking though would be a little bit different. 1. Belle and Beast 2. Belle and Adam 3. Aurora and Phillip 4. Cinderella and Charming 5. Ariel and Eric 6. Tiana and Naveen 7. Rapunzel and Eugene 8. Aurora and Phillip (Forest) 9. Anna and Hans 10. Charlotte and Naveen I wish they had done some kind of dance in Aladdin. A whole new world is magical but Jasmine is apart of the original six Princesses. Even as a secondary character herself, Aurora got not one but two Dance scenes.

I like your list, correct me if I am wrong but it seems to be rated more on the romantic elements? I wish they had done more dancing in a lot of the DP films, I really love those scenes as you can tell! I also wish they would've had more weddings and "happily ever after"s because I think they go beautifully hand in hand (happily ever after and dance sequences).

PrincessAyeka12 Half right. Mine are rated on a romantic level, visual wonder and view angles (I love the close-ups, especially Belle's). The ballroom has to be magnificent or in Cinderella's case the garden under the stars. For Aurora, it was neither. She's third because I love the magical changing colour gown sequence and the closing book at the very end.

PrincessAyeka12 I agree with that. I don't like the painting either. I like forests and trees, just not in Sleeping Beauty. I've had a thought. What would the Strictly judges think of these couples? Strictly Come Dancing (UK version of Dancing with the Stars) focuses more on the technique. Ariel and Eric would be in the dance-off. But the viewers at home would probably vote to keep her in. She'd probably leave the competition. I don't know who would win. Still they'd have fun. A pity we can't see they're latin dancing. Cause one has to be able to dance both to win that trophy and also perform a show dance for the final show. I think the Professional Dancers would be Naveen, Phillip, Hans, Eric, Belle, Charming and Rapunzel. And the rest would be the celebrity partners.

laylastepford ^ As a dancer I do understand why they force dancers in general to perform different styles but I also don't like it. I find that it can often be rude and disrespectful to one's morals, especially when it comes to latin dancing as it is focused on more "sensual & seductive" elements. I think it's depressing to see the people with high moral standards have to do a sexy dance just because some other culture sees it as normal because then they have to A) live with it for the rest of their lives & B) do it full-out if they want to do it very well. I used to love dance but when they focus more on hip hop and latin, I don't like it as much because it gets too close to cultural pre-mating rituals that I'd rather not watch. That's why I love the waltz so much, it's more symbolic of courting and classier romance. I think Aurora would be the best dancer of all the DPs though. She has perfect form and technique and they drew her like a ballerina. I love to see her do her spins.
