My Favourite Things from The Sound of Music

This song reminds me of the scene in the woods after she's been scared por the dark shadowed shapes of the trees. When she asks the animais what they would do and starts cantar With a Smile and a Song. Well this be an alternative song or whilst she' cantar she could be imagining her favourite things. I can also Snow White cantar this. It does require a positive sounding vocal so it makes sense.

This is a Grimm Tales Tribute and since this version of Snow White stuck close to the original tale, it's only fitting to include it here. It fits with the scene where she runs terrified into the dark woods from the Hunter.

laylastepford I agree with My Favorite Things from The Sound of Music as it reminds me of "Smile and a Song" as well as "Whistle While You Work" but I don't know any of the other songs.

PrincessAyeka12 Why don't you listen to them then, Earth Angel in particular is very relaxing. Songbird is soothing. You never know you might like them. You might also like Fable. Another member once posted an article about Within Temptation (a German Synth Rock band) and which song matched each princess. I didn't know who they were. But once I watched the videos, I liked them a lot. And now I have 3 music videos, 1 full album and 8 other songs from two other albums.

'Mary-Sue' is unnecessarily thrown around

To start Mary-Sue is thrown around not only on the disney Princess club, but almost everywhere whenever it comes down to the disney Princesses. The correct definition to Mary-Sue is a perfect female character who doesn't try to be perfect, but naturally is. Like a Renaissance Man, yet doesn't fail at least while trying.
Some have been saying Classics, or Walt Disney's princesses, Belle and Rapunzel are Mary-Sues, plus more. I very much disagree.

The most common areas to be considered Mary-Sues are:
Snow White
Cinderella
Aurora
Ariel (on the occasion)
Belle
Rapunzel

It looks like everybody has done a list with the favourites scenes so I decided to make one too. I haven't included Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante because there are still many people that haven't seen it. Anyway, enjoy!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Ending Scene

I'm not sure about my choice because the last time I saw the movie I was 6 years old, so... Anyway, the animation is stunning when they walk away and you see the castle. I find that scene very romantic and sweet and I believe that Snow White totally deserves her happy ending.

Why Merida Needs mais amor

As I was creating my ícones for Team Merida, I realised exactly why I loved this girl. As a result, I decided to write an artigo with 5 reasons why everybody should amor Merida/Brave

1. Valente was the first pixar film that had a female protagonist.

Pixar is a hugely successful company, but it took about 8 years since they first started making films for them to make a movie where the main character was a girl. Before Valente was made, I was slightly annoyed at pixar - most of it's films didn't even pass the Bechdel test. I amor Valente because it finally featured an awesome female character.
