Aang_Lite Lol, I've was so confused, trying to figure out why Anna (from Frozen) would rank everything this way. Then I looked on your profile and realized it was your name! :P Anyway, I love your lists! Our favorite movies list look very similar and I adore that you have Pocahontas as your number 1 princess! Far too few people have her in their top five. Though I do wonder, why is Pocahontas only your sixth favorite movie, if you love so many elements of it?

fanlovver Thank you both! @Aang_Lite I think the story is weaker than the rest of the things, especially the greedy villain type that's been done many times before. I also adore the main character and many of the others, but it's not enough to have good characters, great music and wonderful animation when I like the other movies overall more.

Hello everyone, as I did for anterior disney Princess reboots, here is a comparison of the 1989 animated film with its 2023 live action reboot. With that being said, let's dive in!

The Storyline

While the storyline is faithful to the 1989 animated feature, I was very happy that there are several scenes that actually filled in the plot hole. Like we get to see Prince Eric's adopted mother and their relationship between mother and son. tied

7) Bejewelled Princess Dress

This dress is over-the-top! She is not the type of princess who would appreciate being decorated like a natal árvore and then find that she cannot walk without feeling the heaviness of weight pulling her down. It doesn't suit her at all.

6) Makeover glittery and patterned dress

This is better than the last one but still over-the top. This time it's the gold patterns on the skirt. There's too many patterns. The corpete part is more. subtle with a singular pattern on the side. I like that. But the shiny blue sleeves are distracting. Too shiny. Her headband is...

Belle Mary Sue Test

We've come to the big one. I hear Belle called a Mary Sue a lot, mais than any other princess aside from maybe Rapunzel.

Unique traits without contacts or hair dye- No. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
An odd name- No. 'Belle' isn't that odd of a name.
Looks constantly commented on- God yes. The town literally sings an entire song about it (along with how odd she is). It's literally in the título of the movie, along with her name. 1.
Multiple characters falling for her- Yep. Beast and Gaston, plus the whole town calling her beautiful. 1.
Gets into the relationships she wants- No. Her relationship...

Hi everyone! I found this Mary Sue test someone was doing for Percy Jackson characters and really liked it. I decided it'd be fun to put disney princesses through it, since a lot of them are accused of being Sues (though I modified the test a little, adding and removing some traits). This test is great because it isn't unnecessarily long-winded and you don't need to be the creator of the character to put them through it (though some of the traits do get repetitive). I had to remove some like "Naturally beautiful" and "Great cantar voice" since that's pretty much a given for all the princesses....

Why Om Nelle would make a perfect disney Princess

Om Nelle is a cute and smart nommie. Those who grew up with Om Nom in their childhood remember him. Om Nelle, the wife of Om Nom, truly deserves to be a disney princess, as much as Mulan.
Well, Om Nelle may not be a disney princess, but mulan isn't actually a princess either. Her heroism made mulan a princess, even though she had nothing to do with the royal family. Om Nelle does a lot of heroics. Just like a Mulan. Moreover, it even has a crown. A tiara with a cute blue stone. But there are a few problems. For example, this crown is actually a belt. Also, even if this was a real crown, Om Nelle has nothing to do with royalty. Om Nelle is a creature, so not a human. That's okay because Nala in The Lion King is also an animal but is considered a disney Princess. Now the only problem is, disney didn't create Om Nelle. So she may be a princess in her own right, but never a disney princess. She would still make a great disney princess out of her.

Why is Aurora fourth in my beauty list

Aurora was always third on my beauty list, but I had replaced her with Belle. Now there's Aurora instead of Rapunzel and Ariel, so she's fourth on my list. Aurora is a very beautiful princess.

Her hair reminds me of a golden waterfall. It's really nice to have your hair curled. Also, Aurora's eyes are perfect! tolet, violet color. The rarest eye color. Her lashes are also gorgeous and united. The shape of his payload is oval which is perfect. You are amazing Aurora.

I find Aurora very beautiful, but I can't say I amor her very much because I find her absolutely boring. She knows nothing but dancing, cantar and getting up with a kiss.

Why I dislike Merida

For Christmas, I wanted to expand my Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante doll collection. Thankfully, that did happen. The first Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante film had several dolls, but they only made bonecas of four characters: Princess Anna, queen Elsa, Kristoff and Prince Hans. mmmm...I guess the one thing I like about her is that she really knows how to take care of herself out there. -Swanpride

She does one unique thing for a disney princess: she is called out on her selfishness and mistakes por the narrative, owns them, AND works to fix the problem. She realizes her mom has a point as much as Merida herself does and learns to appreciate her. Also, she learns true bravery- not shooting arrows, swinging a sword, or climbing waterfalls, but admitting you caused harm. That's never easy.
