oi everyone! Sorry it took me so long to publicar this article. It's finals week at my uni and I've been pretty busy composição literária papers and studying for exams. Luckily I finally got some time to write this, so here are the final results all compiled together for your convenience!

9. Brave

We started off this countdown with a tiebreaker between Valente and Frozen. Honestly I was kind of sad Valente was the first eliminated, since I'm incredibly fond of it. However, users didn't like the fact that it was a pixar film and so technically not the work of Disney. Others also didn't like the fact that there was no romance in the film, despite the fact that Walt made all kinds of movies, both romantic and not.

This one is so not Disney. The other filmes at least have the disney magic but Braver has got nothing. Boring and rushed story line, unoriginal characters and it is not a fairy tale at all. ~tiffany88
Being as objective as possible, Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante took the world por storm (snowstorm?), won awards, and was technically the most successful animated movie. I'd be curious as to what Walt would think of it.
I'd actually like to see what he'd think of Valente as well, since it is somewhat unusual for a disney movie (non-musical, non-romantic, Pixar-esque, etc.). I'm not sure he'd have liked Valente as much as he might have liked Frozen. ~MalloMar
It doesn't even feel disney to me. I amor it, but still ~reflection11

8. Frozen

I was really glad to see Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante eliminated so early. It's so condescending toward earlier disney movies, and then ends up being really hypocritical. I think the only things Walt would truly enjoy about it would be the family values and the animation, but even those I think Valente does better than Frozen.

Frozen was rushed in its development. It's characters are all underdeveloped. It ridicules Walt's work in the three Classic films, while basically having "nothing new" to offer. Other disney movies, not even disney Princess ones, had better screenwriting. This one has too little plot and is heavy on song and preaching. Walt might like the special effects for Elsa's ice castle, but he would not like her snide remarks about romance. And he would certainly see the hypocrisy in having Anna and Kristoff together after just three days, when the movie had just finished saying that all of the three dia romances of past films were "bad." ~8804
They say the lowest form of wit is mockery. Applies to Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante pretty well in my opinion. ~Aang_Lite
The pergunta is not which movie we like better but which one we would show Walt Disney. And for all the faults Pocahontas has, the Animation is stunning. It think he would be very impressed por this aspect. Plus, Walt disney didn't like repeating himself. He wanted each of his filmes be different. He liked to challenge himself and his animators.
And I certainly wouldn't show him a movie which basically says that his filmes were bad because they had three days romances in it. ~Swanpride

7. Pocahontas

Since I had been voting for this since the very first round I was glad to see it finally go. While I do think he would appreciate the animation I wouldn't want to show him a film that offends so many people with its portrayal of Native Americans. It's just not a good example of Disney's work since Walt's death.

He probably wouldn't be impressed with the fact that it did poorly in theaters. I can't speak for historical inaccuracies cause the man has a shady past with being faithful to a fonte and all that, and let's not even talk about his history with non-white folks... He'd probably find it very dull as well, lacking the typical "Disney magic". ~scarletunicorn
While he would amor the watercolor animation, I really think the story is a bit too stilted. It doesn't really bring that fantasia feel the others do. I don't think he would care about the historical inaccuracies though. ~Aang_Lite

6. Mulan

While The Princess and the Frog actually won the poll, mais users commented for Mulan. While mulan is a good film, I'm not sure Walt would appreciate that the main character subverted her country's traditions. Most fãs didn't like the fact that it isn't like a classic fairytale.

I like this movie, but I think Walt wouldn't appreciate it. It isn't very classic or romantic. ~BraBrief
The one that is least like a classic fairytale. ~fanlovver
the least like a fairy tale, and I don't think he'd like mulan as a heroine. ~AudreyFreak

5. The Princess and the Frog

I was honestly really sad this didn't stay in the running a little longer. It's one of my favorito disney films of all time, and I really think Walt would enjoy it. I think he would connect with Tiana's drive to reach for her dream and would appreciate how hard she worked to achieve it. I also think he would enjoy the twist that they both turned into frogs. He always liked using animais in his films, like the three classic's animal friends, and made several non-animated films about nature itself. Even his most successful character, and Disney's most iconic symbol, is a mouse! I think he would see it as a novel way to work the animais he loved into the film. Unfortunately most fãs didn't seem to agree.

Anyway with this, while I do think he would amor the movie for it's animation and characters, I do think he would find the songs a bit clunky and story line a bit too easy. A wonderful movie, but a lot mais flawed than the rest of the films listed above. ~Aang_Lite
There isn't much here that speaks to Walt's idea of "romance." Tiana is a workaholic. She does not believe in romance. Plus, unlike Cinderella, Tiana has a mean streak. I don't think Walt would like this movie. ~8804
I don't think he would care for it. ~reflection11

4. Aladdin

I had hoped aladdin would have left a little sooner. It's not a timeless film, and Walt would be completely lost when it came to the jokes. While he'd certainly like many aspects of it I think there are other films he'd appreciate more.

he'd seem to like the other three mais ~Haonako
Again: Not timeless and he wouldn't understand the jokes. All the other filmes on the list I wouldn't mind to show him. While enrolados is CGI, Walt was always very much into progress, and I think he would be fascinated por the technology. The Little Mermaid...wouldn't it be great to show him a project he never finished? And Beauty and the Beast, wouldn't it be great to show it to him, impress him with the camera movement and then tell him "that's the movie which got a nomination as best movie". ~Swanpride
Agh! So hard! I think he would amor all of these movies!! This countdown is going exactly how I thought it should! Yeah! Anyway, I think aladdin lacks a tad bit of the disney Magic that the others have in abundance. Personally, I think either Tangled, or B&TB should win. ~Emmalou13

3. Tangled

I was quite glad enrolados made it this far. It's a really solid film full of disney magic, and I think Walt would be fascinated por the animation. Honestly I think it should have made it to segundo place, but the fãs didn't agree.

He'd hate the humor in this one... ~PrueFever
I think he'd like The Little mermaid more. ~quishy11
Though Walt would have really been amazed at this 3D movie, enrolados really does not carry the beauty of the older films. ~FloraorStella

2. The Little Mermaid

I think we all knew The Little Mermaid would make it to the topo, início two. Not only was it the film that ushered in the disney Renaissance, it was a film that Walt himself hoped to create. Though he never got to see the final product, I think we all agree that it would be really cool to show him the amazing film that it ended up being.

I don't know if he would approve of Ariel and Eric's characters or designs. I'm curious to know what a 40's or 50's "Little Mermaid" disney film would have looked like. (Same for all the others, too.) ~ClassicTV
I'd like to show him both, but I'd prefer BatB because it has mais "merits"/"achievements&qquot; than Mermaid. Nominated for Best Picture, considered por many critics to be Disney's "best", a project he wanted to finish but he never could in his lifetime... ~scarletunicorn
I really amor both films so much! none the less I think he would be proud of all the films his company has made regardless of who wins. ~kristenfan10109

1. Beauty and the Beast

Arguably Disney's most critically acclaimed animated film, I was incredibly happy to see this movie win. I just think it would be absolutely amazing to show him this triumph and say, "This was the first ever animated film to be nominated for the Oscar 'best picture.'" I truly think Walt would be so proud of every aspect of Beauty and the Beast: everything from the animation to the plot is just perfect in my opinion. Though not all fãs agreed with me, this movie still came out on top.

The songs and soundtrack to B&B is lovely. However, I never found B&B to be as memorable as The Little Mermaid. Maybe, that was because Belle was basically a static character in her own movie: most of the events in B&B just weren't that exciting. Belle goes looking for her father, takes her father's place, becomes a nosy person about staying out of the West Wing, runs off, basically develops something-like Stockholm Syndrome after a fashion, and then gets Adam/Beast in trouble por revealing that she likes him mais than Gaston. Adam/Beast never was one of my favorito characters. I did like Mrs. Potts, Chip, Lumiere, Cogsworth, and found Gaston hilarious, but this was not enough for me to consider B&B worthy of a "best picture" nomination, even though it got nominated in 1991. I did think the secondary cast outshone the primary cast in B&B. So I'd rather show him The Little Mermaid, where both the primary leads, and the secondary cast were evenly matched. ~8804

I hope you all enjoyed this countdown! I know I had a lot of fun doing it. Let me know what you think of the results in the comments! :)
