I just finished watching Pocahontas 2 and I really wanted to write an artigo about what I feel for this sequel. If you haven't seen the movie, don't read this article, it contains spoilers. Also, I'm very sorry for not putting images, but I don't have the time.

To begin with, I find that movie really good. Of course you can't compare it with Pocahontas 1, but how many sequels are actually better than the original movie? It's not only the animation/ plot/ characters that are much better, but also the feeling of nostalgia you get. When I really like one movie, I will definitely feel weird when I see its sequel, well, besides shrek 2 maybe.

About the animation, it's quite good. Again, there is no point comparing it with the original but I like the scenery. I also believe that the animators do justice to Pocahontas' beauty. She has many bad shots but generally they have maintain her exotic and mysterious looks. Her hair especially is great and I amor the way it flows so naturally. What's more, Nakoma looks stunning. Way better than in the original. John Rolfe is nicely drawn but I dislike John Smith, he doesn't look very handsome.

The songs aren't very good. I amor Where do I go from here, it's amazing and Pocahontas' voice is phenomenal as always. But the other songs are boring and dull.

Now I'll speak about the characters and their relationships. I amor how they have maintained Pocahontas' indecisiveness, as well as her free spirit and her playfulness. Like in the original, Pocahontas at the very beginning appears to be the funny, playful and adventurous Pocahontas we had missed. But soon, we discover that many things have changed and for the rest of the movie, Pocahontas is wiser, mais mature and serious, (besides during the song What a dia in London, where she seems again curious, fun and outgoing) but, like in Pocahontas 1, she has to deal with very important issues so we can't say she looses her personality. Also, I like how she keeps asking Grandmother Willow for her advice.
About John Rolfe, I like him very much, I can't decide if I like him mais than John Smith or not, but their completely different characters. John Rolfe is a gentleman, very elegant, gentle and courageous and while at the beginning he underestimates Poca, he changes his mind. He truly loves and respects her.
What I'm not satisfied with is John Smith. They have maintain its personality, he's still adventurous, funny and Valente but he seems like he can't understand Pocahontas and he acted like a total jerk, he let her think he's dead!
I prefer how Governor Ratcliffe appears to be in Pocahontas 2, he's mais evil, intelligent, cunning and manipulative and his actions make mais sense, in Pocahontas 1, he didn't do many things imo.
Furthermore, I adore queen Anne. She's gorgeous, calm, sweet, gentle and compassionate. She manages to calm down her husband and she influences him. She reminds me of Cinderella.
Another thing that I amor about this movie is the relationship between Pocahontas and Nakoma. I amor the scene where they roll in the snow and Pocahontas seems like she's having a lot of fun, while Nakoma is like "OMG PLEASE JUST STOP", they have kept their friendship the same, Poca is the crazy adventurer and Nakoma the voice of logic.
But what I really loved was the scene where they have to say goodbye. Nakoma is the only one Pocahontas hugs and she also speaks at her before she leaves, not even her father shared such an emotional scene with her before she leaves. They both look so sad and they actually CRY. That's the point where I tear up too... Remember, even when John Smith left, Pocahontas didn't cry. That scene was really heartbreaking to me, I don't know about you.
Now, about the relationship John Smith-Pocahontas-John Rolfe. The truth is that I realy like John Rolfe and Pocahontas together. They both love, appreciate and respect each other and I think Pocahontas will be much happier with him. I also like how unlike the other princesses, Poca didn't chose her first love, but the man that could truly make her happy and understand her, that's very realistic.
Unfortunately, realistic is not always good when it comes to disney movies. The relationship that Pocahontas and John Smith had at the first movie was so strong, beautiful and passionate and the change that they made was too rushed. Suddenly, Pocahontas forgot about her first love. I understand that it had passed a lot of time since John Smith had died and it was natural for her to mover on and fell in amor with another man. But when she saw John Smith standing in front of her, alive, she didn't even run towards him to hug him, she didn't cry, nothing, I mean seriously? What about that lovely song If I never knew you, the ultimate sacrifice that Pocahontas made or him, she almost died to save him, her words "No matter what happens, I will always be with you forever". Suddenly, they made John Smith look like a jerk that shows off all the time, that disagrees with Pocahontas and can't understand her at all. And when they were separated, he just kissed her hand and she wished him good luck. WHAT HAPPENED?

To conclude, I liked Pocahontas 2 and how Poca chose a different ending for her story, even if she had to be separated with the man she loved, but the sequel actually cancelled the whole movie and that makes me very sad and kinda disappointed. I know this artigo is pointless, because I just can't decide whether I like the movie or not, but I really had to say these things.

(More a "question piece" than an "opinion piece"...commentary will be very helpful for my third and final write-up on Aurora's personality)

I cannot remember if I read this somewhere or if I misread something about Rapunzel who has three books... but Aurora seems to have 2 books?

Now, if this is correct, then I'm so happy! Partly because it supports my belief that she's educated (=obviously literate) well beyond the regular peasant, but also, makes her all the better of a role model which might make her 2nd fav princess now (Sorry Cindy).

Historically speaking (=14th century, 1300s), she is set...

I saw CRaZy_rawR do an artigo like this recently and it looked fun so I thought I might try it out :) Anyway let's get started! Also, I'm not including Anna and Elsa in this list, but their wardrobes are definitely two of my favorites!

Snow White: Rags

I absolutely amor this dress! I amor her other dress as well, but I've always found this dress so charming! I amor the color scheme of it, and I amor the blue hair-bow she wears with it. I think this dress is beautiful, and if the Queen's job was to hide Snow's beauty in that dress she definitely failed! Although the bottom of the dress looks...

I wanted to do this for a while, but I wanted to wait until Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante came out before I did. Plus, I have school and tutoring so I really didn't have time. Anyways, here is my long-awaited favorito DP list.

13. Merida
Previous Position: 11
*Blows a deep breath* Merida. (Read in same tone as Nostalgia Chick uses when she said “Anime” in her topo, início ten hottest animated guys countdown.) I want to like her, I really do. But I just... can't. I dislike Merida. I do admit that she did a great thing at the end: admit that she was bad and selfish and accept responsibility for it. But I honestly don't see...

I amor the movie, it was Amazing, Musical, Funny so well animated the graphics where so well detail, their expressions, like if you where watching real people, mind blowing.
When it comes to the story, i just didn't like the fact that their parents die, same thing with The Princess And The Frog when Tiana's father die.
I felt so sad for Anna and Elsa but mostly Anna, her parents had die and she didn't had no one to talk to in that moment, she had no clue why Elsa was keeping her distance from her. With her parents gone and her only family left rejecting her, she must had felt destroyed.
I Love...

I had my list perfectly figured out. Then I saw Frozen. Now it has changed again. It's harder now than it was before to place everyone, especially after deciding I amor both Anna and Elsa in addition to all my older favorites. My list could still change again after I think about it even more, but for now here it is.
13. Snow White
Well she dropped back to last again after moving up an impressive two places. (She's always been low on my list.) She just kind of annoys me with her high pitched voice and I've just never been drawn to her like the other princesses. I really don't like her hair either....

Got inspired por dimitri_'s article, I did an artigo similar to this when I was new to composição literária artigos here, if you would like to read it clicklink

Snow White

Like I've said so many times before she's my favorito disney Princess. I amor how she always makes the best out of a bad situation and that she's both a child and a mother in the movie and how funny she is and her bossy and sassy side. I also amor that she's an unjudgemental person

Favorite Outfit: Princess Dress with cape - the cape completes the look and makes the dress less plain looking and it's also my favorito animated outfit...

Hello there. I might not be able to fully express myself in this and since this is my first time posting an artigo like this. So,be warned. ^^"
Lets begin!

11) Ariel.
Now,I don't HATE Ariel. I just never really found her all that interesting. She does have her moments where I like her at.
I did like it when she went to the Ursula to turn into a human. Most people think that was a bit selfish of her. I don't though,it was for love. She loved Eric and wanted to be with him.

10) Tiana.
Like with Ariel,I don't hate her. She was an okay character and I really liked her personality. I just...

Well, I've already done an artigo about the faces of the disney princesses, so now I suppose I'll go ahead and list my opinions about the prettiest disney hair. Let's begin!

11. Snow White
Oh, Snow. I hate how you're at the bottom of all lists ever, but with that boring little bob that looks like a gob of paint you just don't deserve much higher. Many condolences.

Couldn't have put it better myself
Couldn't have put it better myself
Hello, DP Fanpoppers, in this artigo I'm going to share my thoughts on they way I see 'The Little Mermaid', and try to prove certain negative opinions surrounding this movie wrong with they way I and certain other people see the situation. Feel free to at least read what I, and many other people's thoughts I've included, have to say about this.

You know, I've always found it off when people mention that Ariel didn't really change her ways por the end of the movie. I thinklink, but here's my take on the situation. She does change in the end, it just wasn't as clear or obvious as it should've...
