1. Belle
Belle has a really good relationship with her father. They are never shown fighting or arguing. Although the villagers think both are odd, Belle and Maurice are satisfied to have each other.

When Belle sees Philippe coming início without her father, she is worried and boldly goes to the dark forest searching her father.

Entering a scary castle, Belle finds her father imprisoned in a cold jail. Then, she declares to take Maurice's place as the prisoner although she will spend her entire life in the gloomy castelo with a horrible, monstrous Beast.

Many days pass. Belle and the Beast soon become friends and even lovers. Living a happy life in the encantada castelo doesn't let Belle forget her father. After the romantic dance with the Beast, Belle tells him that she misses her father and she still wants to know how her father's condition is. Because Maurice is very sick, the kind Beast releases Belle so Belle returns início to take care of her father.

In the town, Maurice is accused as a crazy man that he must be sent to an asylum. Belle defends her father, claiming that he's not crazy. After facing many difficulties and problems, finally Belle can be together with her love. And her father also comes to the castle.

This is why I think Belle is the princess who loves her father most.

2. Mulan
mulan dares to disguise a soldier so that her sickly father doesn't have to go to war. However, the movie doesn't much tell us whether she thinks of her father a lot in the war or not.

Although it's for her father's own good, mulan has argued with her father which makes their relationship is not very good. Fa Zhou might be killed if he joins the Chinese Army, but Fa Zhou prefers to die for honor. mulan does not agree with his view that she secretly cuts her hair and goes to the training camp. She risks her own life for her father that shows how deeply her amor for her father is.

3. Tiana
Tiana works REALLY, REALLY hard to make her father's dream come true. She even wants to kiss a frog - an action she thought she would never ever do - to get enough money so she can have her father's dream restaurant, Tiana's Palace. When she is turned into a frog, she still purposes to achieve her father's dream.

Tiana also never forgets her father's advise. She mentions her father's advise several times in her songs: Almost There and When We're Human.

Though at first, she mistakes her father's true message, finally she learns knows it which is love. Tiana successfully opens her own restaurant and obtains love, which is Naveen.

4. Pocahontas
Pocahontas is someway close to her father but not really close either. When Powhatan returns after defeating the Massawomecks, Pocahontas is on topo, início of the cliff, thinking about her dreams! However, as soon as Nakoma informs her that her father is back, Pocahontas hurries to the village. She shares her strange dream with her father, but her father does not give her a satisfying answer. Instead, he tells her about Kocoum's wish to marry her. He also supports Kocoum to marry her because he thinks Kocoum is a good, strong man who will keep her safe. However, Pocahontas is not sure marrying Kocoum is the right path for her. She feels that her dream means something to her. Later, the dream shows that Pocahontas has to be with John Smith, not Kocoum.

Because of her amor for John, Pocahontas tries to make peace between her people and the Englishmen. But Powhatan thinks differently. He accuses John of killing Kocoum and determines to kill John at dawn. Pocahontas comes to the rescue and teaches her father about amor and hatred.

It seems that the reason why Pocahontas cares about the war is her amor for John Smith. But when injured John asks her to go with him to England, Pocahontas chooses to stay in America although her father already gives her permission to choose her own path. Pocahontas says, "I'm needed here" which means she chooses to accompany her father rather than leave him to be with John.

5. Jasmine
Before jasmim meets Aladdin, jasmim has nobody in the world except her father the Sultan and her tiger pet, Rajah. However, jasmim sometimes argues with her father because of their different point of view. Sultan sticks to the law and wishes jasmim to marry a prince por her seguinte birthday. Plus he wants jasmim to be taken care well por a good prince before he dies. On the other hand, jasmim hates to be forced to marry someone she doesn't love. She really longs for freedom. Free to go out of the palace. Free to do something on her own. Free to have real friends (except Rajah). And especially free to choose her own husband. Therefore, once again she gets angry when Sultan, Prince Ali, and Jafar talks about her marriage.

"How dare you! All of you, standing around deciding my future? I am not a prize to be won!"

Despite her few arguments with Sultan, Sultan is still Jasmine's comrade whom she tells her sadness of the "beheading" of Aladdin. She also shares her happiness with her father after going around the world with Prince Ali.

6. Ariel
Ariel LOVES anything related human very much. On the other hand, Triton HATES humans very much. Therefore, Ariel just keeps hoping that her father would understand her better. No wonder they seem not getting along well. Triton gets angry when Ariel saves a human from drowning while Ariel retorts back because she knows that the human is not all bad.

However, actually they amor each other very much. We can see Ariel's amor for her father when she says "If I become human, I'll never be with my father or sisters again" to Ursula when Ursula offers her the deal. This means that Ariel still wants to be with her father even though she only needs one step to make her dream come true: becoming a human. But after some thoughts, she chooses to a human and leaves her family.

In the end, Ariel reveals her amor to her daddy por hugging him and says, "I amor you, Daddy." Becoming a human doesn't mean she cannot meet her daddy, right? She can meet him when he goes up to the surface.

7. Aurora & Rapunzel
We don't know much about their relationship with their fathers since they are separated from their fathers since baby. Aurora is raised por the three good fadas to protect her from Maleficent's curse. Meanwhile, Rapunzel is kidnapped por Mother Gothel because of her magical hair.

In the end of the movies, they are shown meeting their father in the happy family reunion. Well, perhaps Aurora and Rapunzel doesn't have many great memories about their fathers, but they can learn to know each other better after the reunion.





Most of the princesses have the same problem in their relationship with their father: different opinion.
