Well, without further ado, directly into the article. If you don't know what this is about, please read my anterior Soundcheck article.

10. Sleeping Beauty: No long explanation needed, “I wonder” is simply too short to leave much of an impact. It’s a wonderful tune, but with a very basic text on it. Nevertheless, I seriously considered putting it slightly higher, because it fits Aurora's dreamy personality perfectly.

Fanpop says: Basically, boring. Also “It would have been better if it lasted a little bit longer, but it goes por really fast.” (founten). The voting for this category was in general all over the place, but nobody seems to particularly like this one.

9. The Princess and the Frog: If I only had to judge “Almost there” I might have set this one higher, although I have some problems with it. I think the animation in that scene is mais impressive than the song itself, which mostly consists of repetitions of “I’m almost there”, but it works, and the words have become mais or less Tiana’s catchphrase por now. The movie is so far down the list because of the other song “When we are human”, which I really dislike. It adds seguinte to nothing to the plot,
because Naveen doesn’t really have big dreams, he just wants to be what he always was, and we already got a whole song about Tiana’s big dream. “I want” songs are good at the beginning of a movie, to get to know the characters but in this case, we already know what those characters want, so why making a song about it? Even Louis already said that he wants to be human to become a jazz player. No need to repeat it again. And again. And again.

Fanpop says: Not one vote for the best song. “I actually like the song Almost There. I only picking this because it has When we’re human, and I’m not fond of this song.” (TigerRanma)

8. Pocahontas: “Just around the Riverbend” is a song which works partly. It certainly gives us a good idea about Pocahontas character, but it’s also very vague about her goals. I gather from the song that she doesn’t want to go the easy path and likes the mais challenging one, but she rarely acts accordingly in the movie. She challenges John Smith about his view on her tribe and she challenges her father finally at the very end, but she never really speaks up to him beforehand, she never tells Kocoum that she doesn’t want to marry him. Or does she? She seems to decide against it at the end of “Just around the Riverbend” por using the less accommodating path, but then she goes to Grandmother Willow about the matter. Wasn’t the whole point of the song that she doesn’t want the life her father has planned for her? Then why, in the very seguinte scene, she tries to decide if she should follow his conselhos after all?

Fanpop says: Not much, this one flew under the radar.

7. Snow White: It’s rare that one character gets two different “I am/I want” songs, instead of a main song and a reprise, and if it happens, it rarely works. Here it does, because each time Snow White is in a totally different state of mind. When she sings “I’m wishing” she is very much alone and wishes for love. And isn't it convenient that the wishing well grants her wish immediatly? That's surely the fastest
solution for a princess desire, ever. The movie could have ended at this point, if not for the action of the Evil Queen. So it's fitting that Snow White uses a different tune later on, in “Someday my Prince will come”. Now she no longer wishes for “someone who loves her”, she wants “her prince” to find her. Both songs are beautiful and both work well in the movie.

Fanpop says: It was voted as one of the worst, but judging por the comments mostly because some people dislike Snow White’s voice. For the best-pick, it was between those who were liked more.

6. Tangled: I don’t know how often I have read or heard the judgment that “When will my life begin” is somewhat monotone – I don’t disagree there, but I think that’s kind of the point of the song. Rapunzel has a monotone life, so the song should reflect that to a degree. It also gives a very thourough rundown on Rapunzel's interest - I think we know mais about her than about any other princess,
simply because this song provides a long list of them, from pottery making, over baking, over chess up to painting. The tune becomes mais of a high point in the Reprise, when Rapunzel decides to leave the tower. It’s a good song no geral, global – others are just better.

Fanpop says: Another one which is somewhere in the middle.

5. Beauty and the Beast: The topo, início five were especially hard to sort. And really, there is nothing to criticize about “Belle” or the reprise. The first song sets up the world in which she lives and the reprise underlines her wish to escape this life she doesn’t fit in. The only reason it’s not higher on the list is the fact that the following songs are a little bit better. But both, "Belle" and the Reprise deserve a honorable mention for the animation used during the scenes. They are
very memorable, and not just because some fancy artwork, but because the way Belle moves and the camera angle is done perfectly. Those movements have become somewhat iconic - haven't we seen a very similiar pose twice already in this article? Both times in "I want"-songs from later movies?

Fanpop says: Another one of those in the middle, with a slight tendency to the better half.

4. Aladdin: “One Jump” stands out from all the other songs in having a reprise which is strangely morose, especially compared to the upbeat tone of the first song. “One Jump” is about what aladdin wants people to see, someone, who is untouchable, who doesn’t care what all those people think of him, but the reprise is about the hurt he feels underneath and his wish that to be appreciated for his true self.
It's not the best melody on this list but you can really hear the "jumpiness" in it. It's not the best song, since it doesn't make any sense without relation to the movie (most of the other songs on this list work as stand alone, too). But imo it deserves this place because for what it is, it's a perfect fit.

Fanpop says: I went slightly against the trend there. This seems to be one of those songs you either like or dislike.

3. The Little Mermaid: For a very long time this one was on place one of the list. “Part of your world” isn’t just an amazing song; it gets perfectly utilized in the movie, since it shows the development in Ariel. First she just want to be part of “this world”, but after she meets Eric she wants to be part of “your world” and becomes even mais determined to fulfill her dream. And in the segundo reprise at the finale it gets triumphant. It’s very, very well done, also in regard to
the animation. Ariel's movements in the cave and especially the scene at the right are the most iconic moments of the movie. I didn’t really expect that a song would topo, início this one, let alone two.

Fanpop says: This was the winner, but not the clear winner. Still, it was also the only song which didn’t get a “worst” vote, so I go slightly against the trend here.

2. Mulan: “Reflections” is an unusual song in this category, because it’s not really an “I am/I want” song, it’s an “I don’t know who I am but I really want to know”-song. And in this, it’s closer to reality than most of the other songs on this list. The protagonists of Disney-movies tend to have a clear idea about what they want in live, but it’s easier to feel with those characters who struggle to find themselves. Who doesn’t know the feeling of being unsure of oneself, and the wish to fit in? But the main reason this one ended on the segundo place list, is because of the way it gets referenced to in the movie. When mulan is alone in the mountains, after her secret got discovered, she looks into the reflection of her capacete and perguntas her own motives. And then Mushu does it and tells her the truth about him. And the Cri-kee does it, and admits not being a lucky bug. Normally those songs are only referenced to over the score; it’s rare that they hint back to the text, so I think it deserves a high spot.

Fanpop says: That’s one of the songs which came in as second, but it got a lot of runner-up mentiones, too. Ladyhadafang said: “Reflection just...rips my coração out. It really does. *Hugs mulan tightly, while shooting daggers at the matchmaker*” Well, if this isn’t an endorsement.

1. Cinderella: Although “A dream is a wish your coração makes” doesn’t have an official reprise, it gets repeated quite often during the movie, and not just in the score. I never really realized how often, until I really paid attention to it. The mice are cantar it when they are working on Cinderella’s dress, in a very jubilant tune. When cinderela is crying on the bench, it gets sung from the off in a comforting manner. And at the end it becomes triumphant. This is mais than just an “I am/I want” song, it’s the whole theme of the movie, and they don’t even have to use different texts to make the song fiting for different situations, they just have to change the tune. Nevertheless is never becomes boring or annoying.

Fanpop says: There were some dislikers, but that was another song which came in second. It certainly has some avid fans. “A Dream is A Wish Your coração Makes is genius. Ilene's voice: Ahh.. <3“ (princessfreak)

11. Merida
Merida. Not the most popular girl ever. She' s not all that brave. Also she whiny and complains. Your mom cares about you so much and she has done a lot for you so, BE THANKFUL! I really hate how she tries to be all independent and carefree but it just feels forced. I think she is just not good at all. Blegh I hate Merida.

10. Rapunzel
The too perfect princess. She is smart, Valente creative, independent, and SO ANNOYING!!! Ok I start to like her when she' sin the tower because she's funny and flawed. Then once she meets the thugs I hate her. I do amor that she likes to paint. A disney...

A little while ago, I wrote a collaboration with my five ano old sister of our favorito disney Princess eyes. My other sister, Amelia, who is eleven wanted to do one. We decided each of our favorito hairstyles of each princess. I included sequels on my list, Amelia did not. Then, we ranked them. Hope you enjoy!

Amelia's #11
Jasmine's Ponytail

I really don't enjoy any of Jasmine's hairstyles, but since I have to choose, I picked the the ponytail because it isn't as bad as the others and it looks good with the red outfit.

Annika's #11
Tiana's Bun with Bangs

*sigh* I desperately want her hair down,...

Though the disney Princesses are Amazing and wonderful every one has there flaws and there are some major ones with out trying to be to Negative, these are the flaws with some of your favorito princesses, this is a long and pointless rant, just warning you

SnowWhite: The Classic and First ever DIsney Princess, made in 1937 mimicking silver screen stars like Claudette Colbert and Marlene Dietrich, Not only the fairest of them all but also the Kindest, but is Snow a bit to Kind? Many Critics have círculo around the fact the SnowWhite is just to friendly with strangers, for example: after she is...

I don't feel like composição literária tons of list of things I've written about before so I decided to write a favorito DP List and a prettiest DP List with not just my ranking of the princesses, but also with other rankings such as where the movie is placed for example. Hope you'll like this idea :)

11. Ariel
Just because she's my least favorito princess it doesn't mean that I hate her, no I like her, especially as a human, she's so hilarious and expressive, as a mermaid she annoys me a little bit, but I still like her. I just amor the 10 above more

Prince: #8
He's nice, but doesn't have much of a personality...

10. Snow White

Although she is one of the classics, her voice, oh the voice!!!
She looks decent, she cowers over everything! Her dress is cute but she is dumb. She eats an maçã, apple to a complete stranger that was so suspicious. Even the animais didn't like the witch.

9.Pochantas
___________
First, the movie was historically inaccurate. Second, she falls in amor with John Smith, which is again, historically inaccurate. She possessed an ability to talk to a árvore who guided her. No other princess talked to a tree. Not even Snow White. If Pochantas was is your favorito princess, I am sorry...

Yup. We got ourself's a cooking princess.
Now as we all know Tiana isn't really that popular on fanpop...am I the only person that LOVES her?
I mean this girl is basically brought disney to a whole new level!!! She can cook, make a raft, she can dance, she can also sing in a BROADWAY voice. Not a lot of DP's have a broadway-like voice other than Ariel, Belle, Pocahontas, and maybe jasmim or Rapunzel but I doubt it. Just about half.
Now I'll be telling a few reasons why this modern princess deserves a little bit of support, clapping, and bravos.

I know, plenty of people have did a list like this and a lot mais lists as well so woo-hoo, I'm doing one too. Look at me, I'm joining the crowd. Yay. Anyway, I feel that since this is the mês for disney Princess Couples on this spot, now would be the perfect time to figure out which couples goes where. I already knew my topo, início two, and now I think I've got all the rest worked out. So sit back, have some popcorn, and enjoy the list that's probably exactly like a bunch of other people's!

9) Snow White & the Prince♥

"Once Upon a Time, in a faraway land, there lived a beautiful princess"-
Nope. If you're looking for the cliche fairytale of how a motherless drop dead gorgeous 16 ano old with a horrible life, who then meets a prince, talks to him for a bit, and then marries him the seguinte day, this isn't the story for you. For this story doesn't have a typical beginning, nor a typical ending, and very few typical things in between
Our story starts off in a place called Aladora, ever heard of it? Probably not. For Aladora's in an alternate dimension, and is very different from our world. Aladora is nothing but...

9.Pocahontas, I thought she would at least make it a little higher due to her playfulness and curiosity, but I guess, people say she's too mature and serious.

8.Mulan, I do wonder why she made it this low as well, she's so clumsy and cute at times, but people say she's mais cool than cute.

7.Jasmine, people just consider her a spoiled brat.

6.Belle, so many people just find her boring and uninteresting.

5.Tiana, she looks cute, but she's far too serious.

4.Aurora, she does have her cute moments, but she's mais graceful and angelic mais than anything.

3.Cinderella, she is kind and innocent, but she's a bit mais mature.

2.Ariel, She's cute but there are times when she is sassy, and rude.

1.Snow White, IT'S ABOUT FREAKING TIME SHE WINS SOMETHING!!!!
What do I have to say? She, sweet, innocent and bubbly.

So sorry this took SO long!!

Female characters today are a far cry from the demure, lady-like heroines of the Classic Age of Disney. They are allowed to wield weapons, they are allowed to lead rebellions, they are allowed to be the brains of the operation. But on the other hand, have we really shed the need to fit every character into a preconceived ideal? Really, I’d say the female characters of today are every bit as idealized as those of the pre-Civil Rights era, simply reflecting our ideals of our modern society, juggling a career, relationship (or entirely rejecting one,)...
