Preface:
Some say that things happen for a reason others say its our fate or our destiny I believe its a little bit of both that lead me to where I am now although I didn't realize this was consequence for the path I had chosen leaving me here standing in between what I should and what I needed to do.

Chapter 1: Remembering

England a city of life full of hustle and bustle you can literally hear the hooves of the horses, people in the town square the smell of freshly baked bread, the sights of magnificent buildings, castles, and structures its all very appealing I'll admit but I tire of the same thing dia after dia I want something mais an adventure, exploring new worlds all across the world sadly I don't get that very often; these things need to be funded and the only person even interested these days is the King of England King James the First he wants to make profit but expand the empire because well let's just say its getting a little crowded here.
Luckily after our last successful mission in establishing James Town in Virginia people have took the plunge in starting over and creating a whole new life for themselves I remember the last time I was there like it was yesterday nothing but green forest for miles around, spectacular views, and most importantly I had met someone a Native girl who showed me all new things especially how people aren't so different from one another based on the color of their skin her name was Pocahontas.

She had skin the color of copper, eyes so full of life, kindness, and understanding and hair black as coal that flowed in the wind as it blew she was so beautiful not only on the outside but on the inside as well. I remember the dia I realized that I loved her but the timing was horrific my men and her people were planning a war to destroy one another but Pocahontas and I knew that we really weren't that different from one another in fact we were much the same and we fought with amor in our hearts for to show them. After I had been captured por her father Chief Powhatan's men and was about to be beaten to death she came laying herself on topo, início of me she confessed her amor for me in front of everyone saying that this is where the path of hatred had brought us all together ready to destroy one another but then a miracle happened the Chief had a change of coração or mais of an understanding realizing that what he did was wrong.
After I was released no one wanted to fight any longer that is except for one Ratcliffe a greedy governor who served King James he thought the whole thing was a trick but when no one would fight with him he was about to shoot Powhatan until I stepped in pushing him out of the bullet's path where it landed in my side.

As for Ratcliffe he was put in chains for crimes por the crew while I was on a stretcher in excruciating pain the men wanted to take me back to England where I could get medical treatment or else they knew I would die if I stayed. I had them wait so I could see Pocahontas one last time she and her people had brought us baskets full of comida for our long journey back along with her father who told me that I was always welcome among his people and thanked me for what I had done. It was hard saying goodbye but that hardest one por far was saying goodbye to the women I loved I wanted her to come back with me but in my coração I knew that she was needed there that that's where she belonged but I knew she would never leave me because no matter what happened she would always be with me and with one last kiss I was rowed back to the ship as we sailed off I waved goodbye the way her people did and watched her on the cliffs edge until I could no longer see her.
A ano later I ran into her again she had come to England but she was different she wasn't the same girl I feel in amor with even when she found out that I really wasn't dead her coração belonged to someone else as broken hearted as I was I still fought por her side like a true friend and then I knew I had to let her go it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life but all I wanted was for her to be happy and now I don't know if I can ever amor again.
