Most of the time I read "I hate them" That's why I asked :|

Some people just don't like Damon. Not a lot, but I've met a few. And others like him, but prefer him with Bonnie over Damon and Elena. They think he has more chemistry with her. And then there are just die hard Stelena fans who think anyone with Elena other than Stefan is just wrong. I happen to fall into none of these catagories. I like her equally with Stefan and Damon, but I can see where each side has their points.

I don't get why people would make up excuses like they have no chemistry or they are as boring as watching paint dry just because they don't like them and prefer SE/DB.

To be honest, I don't get why people would prefer a couple as rushed and boring as Stelena?! Or Bamon who people claim have this fantastic chemistry. I find it hilarious when people say Delena have none, especially when they are friends in real life so OF COURSE they are going to have chemistry lol.

Delena has the most build up and have been growing from the start. I can see them being a love story to remember. And soon enough SE fans are going to realise this and change sides -- well most of them have already anyway lol!

And as for Bamon, I doubt they will be more than a fling, I mean, is it really a Damon trait to fall in love with both Elena and Bonnie, as well as Katherine?! When Damon falls in love he does hard and that's why it would ruin his character if he got with Bonnie.

As for Stelena -- at least Elena has fun with Damon, unlike when she's with him, the double date an example. The only time they are really bonding is when Stefan is saving her life and protecting her and vice versa, not a good combo to function a relationship! lol.

So anyway, sorry waffle and rant over xD

One of my friends hate them cause she hates Nina's acting and she doesn't see any chemistry coming out from her.
-I think Nina's improving but still, her acting is pretty bad most of the times, but completely disagree on her not having chemistry with Damon/Ian.

& i know quite a few who hate them cause they think they're overrated and they cannot stand overrated couples.
-In my honest opinion, I do find them pretty overrated by some fans who exaggerate some things, like for example OMG, did you see how Damon touched her, it was SO EPIC!!!!1. And I do love them FREAKING LOT, but I can see and admit that they're hyped up.

Maybe they're just jealous because Damon and Elena are super awesome! <3

I could like Delena but well... I love very much each character. I love Damon, but I also love Stefan. And well, let's see all the story. Damon only bothered and made Stefan suffer for so long, and well, I know he's not like that anymore but anyway, we can't forget that. And even after all these years, Stefan couldn't let his brother die. And he had to pay for his brother's life, he gave everything for his life. He had been trying for so long to keep on his diet, to save human and all the people he cared about, including Elena and he gave everything for Damon. Now, Klaus compelled him to turn it off, but before that he had compelled him to bite Elena. But he tried so hard to resist compulsion to save the women he loved and he ended up compelled to turn it off. And even after ALL this, Elena and Damon keep being all romantic around each other. Does they remember what Stefan did to save them? All because he LOVED them? And I don't think anyone noticed, but if Elena and Damon be together, she would be betraying Stef. I mean, they never broke up. He still loves her, but he doesn't remember it. Of course he'll be back and I'll love to see Damon and Elena's face. And yours. I mean, Stefan is just like Damon. I know you all like the bad guy, so do I. I LOVE Damon. But I think he's being selfish, not just him, Elena. Elena, the most. But well, I appreciate Damon trying to not go after her just yet, but well, the scenes that he's doing w/ her doesn't seem like he cares about his brother love for Elena anymore. And that REALLY pisses me off.

Most Stelena fans prefer Stefan to Damon (although they probably like Damon too).

simply this! because we are the better couple, we have EVERYTHING, that makes a couple real and great, and they can't stand it!! poor fools!

no offence, ship stefan all you want, don't don't ever make him out to be poor innocent victim, because he is FAR from thaT, as you well know!!!. and damon hasn't been selfish in the least, Infact, damon has been more worried about helping poor innocent saint stefan than elena has! FACT!!
