Completely depends your age, how strict you/your family/your congregation follow the rules, your church, and even your denomination.

Catholics, for example, have the rule that you are supposed to fast completely on Good Friday, but only if you're over 18. If you're over 14 (but not 18), you don't have to fast, but you can't eat meat. But, I've belonged to two separate Catholic congregations, and they were never strict about the fasting. Their thing was not eating meat on Fridays.

I have an aunt that's Baptist. Her first church didn't celebrate Good Friday at all. Her segundo church did, but followed it loosely. They didn't fast, but they didn't eat meat either.

Of course you can eat! True, it is a special day, but jesus cares about your physical needs. If you're hungry, he WANTS you to eat.
