How does it feel to win fã of the mês for May?
I'm always flattered users notice my contributions, so thank you all so much!

Why do you think the fãs chose you?
I guess it's because I'm pretty active, even though I'm on and off with Fanpop. When I do go on, I usually make as much pesquisas and artigos as possible.

Do you think you deserved to be fã of the month? (be honest), if not, who do think should have been voted fã of the month?
I think I deserved it, though other users deserved it just as much, if I'm allowed to say that. Hmm... she doesn't come on fanpop anymore but I feel the need to mention BelleAnastasia. Because thanks to her countdowns on the CAMH club, that inspired me to make mais artigos on Fanpop. I started with the Sexiest Animated Females countdown on this spot and did mais and mais artigos afterwards.

Who is your favorito animated movie heroine and why?
Mulan- I amor the struggle she goes through trying to find herself, how she could only succeed when being herself. She taught me that maybe my time to bloom will come later, maybe in a different field... this speaks to me so much and tells me there's no use in being disappointed with myself, trying to meet other people's expectations.

Who is your least favorito animated movie heroine and why?
The one that's on topo, início of my head right now is Tinkerbell, from the Peter Pan movies. I'm not going to call her names but I think some of those words describe her pretty well. Not to mention, jealousy is one of the ugliest trait a person can have IMO. I would find her mais tolerable if she were a villain, but she is classified as a heroine when she doesn't even possess traits that are worthy of one.

What is your favorito type of heroine and why?
So it's cliché but my favorito has got to be the heroine that goes through an interesting emotional journey, I can relate most to one that grows out of her insecurities. Although, that's not to say a confident character that has herself well put together can't be one of my favorites.

What is your least favorito type of heroine and why?
The one that is an overused archetype of a heroine, one that is typically idealistic and one-sided if you know what I mean. I think that makes her predictable and misunderstood por the viewer in the worst way.

What type of heroine do you wish existed?
I wish there was a heroine who learned something from the hero, and not the other way around. Because apparently, men are all dumbasses who need to be taught a lesson and women are the ones who are always right. That's why I hate the trope that consists of the woman having to reshape her male counterpart. So yeah, I wish she was cocky-or something at the beginning, but eventually has a change of coração thanks to a man. Her character development should be done right though, otherwise I prefer no character development at all.

What's your favorito animated movie?
Gotta go with Mulan! There's not one single character in that movie I dislike. Well, maybe the Matchmaker but she sure serves her purpose. It's action-packed and there are so many significant scenes. Out of all disney movies, it's the one that gets me the most emotionally involved and I think the humor in it is timeless.

What's your least favorito animated movie?
*Scurries to KataraLover's article* I keep myself away from filmes that are known for being awful so I haven't seen a lot of those ''kinds'' of movies. There's not an animated movie I particularly loathe so I guess I have to say disney sequels. Yeah yeah, I'm one of those people that don't give disney sequels much of a chance. But I honestly think they are lazy profitable filmes that deviate too much from its original fonte and that's why I don't consider them canon. I can enjoy a few of them though.

Who is your favorito and least favorito TV show animated heroines and why?
My favorito is Princess Sissi. These days, I feel like society brainwashes people into thinking femininity = weakness. So I really enjoy a very feminine and sweet- yet interesting character like Sissi. I also amor her relationship with Franz.

My least favorito is Hilary from Beyblade. There are a lot mais animê characters I dislike for some reason, but she's got to be the one I like the least because she is completely useless. It's nice that there were mais female characters in the later seasons of Beyblade, since that show is a sausage fest but she makes the series hard to enjoy. She butts in way too much and I can only remember her as the girl who fawns over Kai.

Who is your favorito and least favorito animated child heroine?
My favorito is Lilo. She idolizes Elvis and takes pictures of fat people, you can't go wrong with this weird hilarious kid.

My least favorito is Melody. One of the reasons I adore Ariel is because she is a great flawed character. And Melody is exactly like her mother, minus the flaws. So my opinion of her is that she is a bad copy of Ariel. I really need to re-watch TLM2 though.

Which animated movie do you think has the best animation?
Bambi, it's definitely an artistic masterpiece, even por today's standards. It's just so beautiful, I'm impressed every time I watch the movie. The animais are lifelike and the backgrounds are absolutely stunning!

Which animated movie do you think has the best música and songs?
Is it corny if I say A Goofy Movie? Pop culture was a huge focus of the 90's and I can imagine Powerline's songs topping the billboard charts of that decade, if disney were mais exposed. The música in that movie hits início with the nostalgia and has that 90's feel to it that I just love.

And finally, do you have anything else you'd like to say to the CAMH fans?
Let me tell you, my old artigos on fanpop really weren't that great. Although I wrote many as time goes on so I became better at composição literária them. And I think everyone should keep that in mind; keep doing it and you will eventually get the hang of it. If you got my message, I wasn't only speaking about composição literária artigos ;)

I asked people that voted to rank their favorito heroine outfits, and they commented with their ranks. A total of 24 users took part. The ranks here are an average of the ranks of everyone that commented. The scoring of the ranks was done por a total point score (combined points to each character from the lists of all of the people that participated)! For example, if somebody had Robin capuz, capa as #1 on their list, then it gets 10 points. If another person has him as #2, he gets 9 points and so on. If Robin capuz, capa is not in ranked in the topo, início 10 on somebody's list, he gets no points.

So here are the...

oi Fanpoppers, I am doing a review on a movie I was composição literária that was expected to be released on TAY (Talk Among Yourselves) very soon. I have an excerpt from the intro of the review; it’s a very interesting yet dark fact-filled story of the making and behind the scenes drama behind Warner Bros’ obscure Non-Disney Film/Disney Knockoff, Quest for Calmelot.

When Warner Bros. Feature Animation was founded in ’94, they have planned to make two projects to release for theaters, with the Live-Action/Animated Hybrid Film o espaço geléia, geleia planned for the November 1996 release and the film adaption of...

I was thinking of this while watching the other dia the Nostalgia Critic's review of the cisne Princess, and how critical and overly nitpicky he was in general towards this movie...

And that made me think how almost all non-Disney filmes are treated in this way (of course, there are a few notable exceptions as the Studio Ghibli films and the Dreamworks ones), that audiences feel the need that if they are animated filmes which aren't Disney, they must be held in an impossibly high standard and they must please every demand of the audience.

Why is that? Why is it that any animated non-Disney movie...
