I'm XPGSaints and i'm a fã of Alpha and Omega since 2010. I'm a type of person who can be called "furry". Like the majority of people, I had a crush on a fictional character and I still have it and this, since 2010.
The main reason why I write this artigo is because most a people who are in amor with fictional character think they are not normal or they think they have a mental disease and they have some questions. So i'll answer some of them and i'll help people to realise they are totaly normal. Got question? Ask in the comments ^^
Furry: A fictional character like Kate, Humphrey, etc who are animais like wolf. It can be bears or hamsters. You know what I mean :)

Fictional Love
This is an important step in the life. This is normal. People who are in amor with a fictional character had really bad experiences in relationships and they are still hurt. This is for most of people.
When they see "the character" for the first time, they know they'll like it. They'll watch the movie again and again just to see this fictional character and boom. They amor it but people may not want to accept this fact. Like me, I amor Kate since 2010 and I'm not affraid of it. I'm happy with that. People have to accept you the way you are and your choices.
Sexualy attracted
This is another part that people will try to not talk about. Some people would like to have sexual relations with "the character". Again, if this happens, this is normal. No need to stress about that.
Now, this part is important.
Let's take Kate as an example!
There's a guy who amor Kate. But he found that he would amor to have sex with her. He can't because she's a fictional character. So he go and get some pictures and start masturbating. Well, some time after the exercise done, this guy will start crying and ask the sky why is he anormal. (Source: A friend, inspired mini story)
The fact is he's not. The guy is normal and he just like things that other people will never do.
People will insult him and he will may feel sad, dia after day.
I know many many people like playing with themselves while watching a fictional character like Kate. They think they do "Bestiality" thing.
Nope. This is not bestiality. Bestiality is when you amor having a great time ith real animais like cavalos or cachorros in the real life.
You and the time
This is a pergunta of time. You may amor this character for the rest of your life or you may choose to forget him/her.
This is all about you. So you can be happy with a virtual relation and be seguro from tricky girls/boys or you can choose to meet real people and keep a place for your character.
You and only you can realy choose what will happend. After all, it's your life! :)
Depressing
This is the sadest part. We all know "this character" will never be real and we feel depressed. No need to got to a psy. He will not be that helpful. Joining fã sites is a way to stay away from depression. Talking about your crush will help too. I think the major reason why people don't really talk about that is the fear of being insulted/rejected/etc. The fact is this kind of morrons will alaway exist whatever you do and whatever you say.
Conclusion
This kind of amor is normal and no one have any mental disease.
Sexual things related to animê furries are not a bestiality thing. Sex with real animal is bestiality and you'll need to contact your medic.
Nobody is alone and people should talk about fictional crushes witch is a normal step in the life.
