I think zoos are wrong!!!

animais in captivity is wrong. animais need to be in there natural homes. Yes in zoos they have everything they need. But, would you want to be locked up like that if you were an animal? Or would you want to be in the wild with lots of room to run,hunt,and play? I would. Some animais are taken away from their familys to be put in a zoo. Yes it is nice to see them up close. But think how you would feel if you were in a locked enclosure. Like a zoo! You don't have to agree with me. But you should know the truth.

Most zoos, especially AZA approved zoos, do not take animais from their natural habitat. They get them from other zoos that have bred two together to help stabalize the species. Zoos are meant to preserve animais and do research so that they can determine how to help animais that have lost their homes due to deforestation, poaching, etc. So their main purpose is not to keep them in cramped cages where they are only there to show guests, although that was the case a few decades ago, but zoos have learned mais to properly care for animals. Plus, a lot of animais are sometimes even given to the zoo por exotic owners who have no clue that they're should not have exotic pets. Zoos do not like when this happens, but they cannot just let aleatório animais out into the wild where they do not belong and could die por gatos hunting them or they get to close to humans because they do not know otherwise. So animais in captivity isn't wrong, some places probably do keep animais under inproper circumstances, but proffesional zoos don't do this type of thing. So true, animais are in enclosures, not in the wild, but its because their wild counterparts aren't able to survive in the wild. Zoos are also here to educate people so that they will make a difference and care about animais enough to try to think about their choices and if it can help the planet for everybody, because if everything keeps going the way its going around here on Earth, there wont be any animais around anymore.

Some animais could at least get some bigger o espaço in their prison.

That is true though. I've been to a Zoo once that really fascinated me por how much o espaço the animais had and the environment was awesome too. I don't remember in what town it was, it is in Germany though. I haven't seen any zoo (luckily) where I was shocked por the lack of space. But I've only seen three zoos around where I live and it's pretty rural here so they have a wide range of what to make out of the place. On TV I've seen some of the terrible ones and it really breaks my coração that people call this animal saving in these cases. What hurts me the most though is a denunciar I've seen on how cattle is treated. I became a Vegeterian from then on. animais being kicked so they'd run faster some die on the ship to other countries and are thrown into the sea. Many are being tortured alive, they don't even care to kill the animais painlessly before they make meat of them.

Generally animais do better in their natural habitats, but making and providing environment similarly to their homes is ok if made to protect them from predators.
