X-Men Pergunta

How do we determine the mutant's class?

I know class 5 is very powerful, but is there mais details?

Please, x-menobsessed26, can you give me an example of mutant in the filmes for each categories of mutant power levels ( except the zeta one) ? It will help me even mais to understand :)

Omega level would be Jean Grey as Dark Phoenix. Alpha level would be people like Charles Xavier and Magneto (incredibly powerful and look "normal", but not at omega level destruction capabilities). Beta level would be Cyclops and Storm (Cyclops because he can't shut his power off and Storm because of her white hair as a "physical flaw"). Gamma Level would be like Rogue (though her power can't be turned off, she is NOT inherently powerful and is not qualified as beta. She gets her power level from others. As a base, she's rather weak). [This is where I feel like they may have missed a chance at a category, with mutants of average power but no physical flaws/drawbacks, like Kitty Pryde, Iceman, and Pyro]. Delta level would be people like Colossus. [I feel like they may have missed one here as well where the mutation is on a physical level, but doesn't cause harm, like Beast. Otherwise, I feel like they did a poor job of explaining Epsilon]. Epsilon level would be, I assume from their terrible descriptions, like Toad or Blob (whose mutations make it difficult to live a "normal human" life. Also, taking these comic descriptions and puting them on the filmes is difficult to say the least. The filmes can't get into much descrição of what these mutants can do with their powers, only show you, so you don't really know what they're capable of in the filmes (i.e. Iceman in the filmes is shown as rather weak, but in the comics is an Omega level mutant). Also, many of the physically altering mutations are difficult to do because of special effects, expensive prostetics, and the tendancy to make what you see on screen "pretty" and "appealing".

Class 5 is something found strictly in the movies, and they never really gave a partial explanation, let alone a full one. They left it up to imagination for a reason. However, the comics have a mais complicated and complete classification system for mutant power levels. Here is an example :
