Which X-men do you think have or have made the best (and/or worst) mothers?

It is sad how hard it is for me to think of good X mothers. Uh well Jean's mom seemed pretty nice until after Jean's multiple deaths. Wow I never really realized just how many mothers die young in comics. Oh and Rahne! Moria MacTaggert was a great adopted mother!

Goodness there really are too many bad mothers to list all of them. Mystique comes to mind. Bishop's mother seemed pretty unstable and hate-filled (understandably so). Maddy of course. She may have been fine at the beginning but it’s pretty hard to come back from attempted baby murder. Wolverine's mom seemed fairly crazy and you know what this is getting depressing so I'm just going to stop there.

Jean obviously would have made a great mother. Rachel and Nate both turned out good under her supervision and would have only been better if it hadn’t been for the shitty times they were raised in. Storm would probably make a good mother. She cares about kids and doesn’t lose her cool easily. With how much Kitty has matured recently she’d make a great mother. Emma Frost actually could make a good mother since she seems to care so much about kids. I tried to think of less obvious respostas but literally none are occurring to me.

With all the mental instabilities that come with being a female X-Man you could make quite the list of people who are not ready for motherhood. At the topo, início of my list would probably be Rahne and not just because the recent issues with her son. It’s mais because her general issues with her powers and herself which I don’t think would lend themselves well to raising a healthy kid. Though I don’t know if she’d make an awful mother, motherhood would seem out of character for Domino. She may care about the kids on her team but I still couldn’t quite see her having her own.
