Why won't Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight have kits?
I want them to have kits!!!!!!!!!!!

Squirrelflight didn't tell Brambleclaw the truth about Hollyleaf, Jayfeather, and Lionblaze's parentage and Brambleclaw was angry she wasn't truthful.
Also, Erin Hunter revealed it was likely Squirrelflight was unable to have kits (probably a result of tortoiseshell males being infertile and her grandfather was a tortoiseshell male but he was fertile, so he might have passed it on to her).

It’s because: They had a falling out and didn’t get back together until the end of Omen of the Stars so the kits wouldn’t have been mentioned, or she just couldn’t have kits at all.

bramblestar and squrrilflight do have kits.... You can find that out in the back of the book in Bramblestar's Storm, the super edition, where the mangá sample is in. it is the last page of the manga.

Yellowfang lies to her that she can't have kits, so she has to claim Leafpool's kits as her own. Yellowfang kind of knew that was going to happen (i think), so she had to go through all the experience she been through to end up like the cat she is now.
